choosing miami shows he cares about winning

if he wanted fame, he would stay in cleveland where the spotlight was all on him.

    terrible assessment

Easy for Lebron to start talking now that he's poised to be the greatest 2nd fiddle of all time. He'll put up monster numbers, but the Heat will go as far as Wade carries them. He's going to be the heart of that team, and because of him I see them succeeding.

It shows that he cares about winning like Yates High School cares about winning when they're full-court pressing middle school teams in the 4th quarter while up 100 points. They "won" but what did it prove? But hey, they're just having fun with their buddies I guess!

Choosing Miami shows that he is not willing to be "The Man" and wants to take the easy road.

I don't blame a young 25 year old for choosing Miami.....a great place to live for sure.

But, the whole "Took less money" is bogus because both Bosh and Lebron are now in a state without income tax.....they make more in Miami than signing a max deal with their old teams....they net out much better.

And if Lebron cared about winning he would not have laid down on his teamates in game 5 of the Celtics series.....

Lebron was looking for the easy path.....and he took it...

Now he has to take the heat for the obvious...

Why am I even bothering with you anyway? You were the guy defending TMac to the bitter end....how did that work out for you?

Miami bowed out in the first round, and if weren't for one amazing performance by Wade, they wouldn't have won a game. this isn't the miami team that won a championship with a motivated shaq.

Seriously, LeBron needs a real publicist bad. I mean BAD. Somebody needs to make a documentary of TMac's public image downfall running his mouth, and force LeBron to watch it.

It's one thing that you are a self-absorbed diva. It's another thing to show that side of you to the world. I mean, Kobe is a complete jerk. But he at least has the sense of protecting his public image and refraining from mouthing his real mind in the media.

Why is he a jerk because he says I've been paying attention to everyone being critical of me.

People are being assholes, his decision is made, he can't go back, do you want him to say I'm sorry. All he can do is say i'm going to show you why I made this decision and shut the haters up.

as far as publicity, for lebron right now, all publicity is good publicity. this isn't t-mac, t-mac's larger problem is his decline.

He can shut up, and instead of talk the talk, walk the walk. That's how Kobe rescued his image.

Lol @ comparing Kobe rescuing his image to LeBron.

Kobe had to rescue his image from a rape charge.

To make the comparison is just stupid.

I looked at the title and for a second I thought Lebron was taking notes on how to improve his basketball game. How foolish of me - this is far more likely

Weak excuse. Bird and Magic played on stacked teams as well.

Wade is getting older. It's his team no matter what everyone says.

Yeah, but that has nothing to do with 'not caring about winning'. That move makes it more likely that they will win.

Well, he might of cared that one of his supposed 'teammates' was laying it to his mom.

Anyhow, I think 'The Decision' was full of douchebagness, but I'm also finding it funny how all these people are hand wringing and crying over a guy they probably would have told you they were tired of hearing about several months ago.

The mWo is playing up their villian role perfectly. This season is going to be pretty awesome.

Hell yes they are. you know, I knew a lot of NBA fans liked to complain, but I never knew there were SO many whiny little b****es.

I mean, they cry over everything these guys do. It's insane. As long as Miami doesn't try any PR bs and maintains their "heel" status, they are f-ing cool with me. I'll be rooting like hell to beat them, but I'm not just gonna hate on them if they're successful.
