Both Steve Nash and Karl Malone won multiple MVPs, yet I've never seen them get trashed like Lebron has . . . there's some personal with Lebron when it comes to some critics or fans.
no one talks about Nash or Malone being the GOAT. Guys on ESPN and per say he is top 5 ever, and his seasons have surpasses MJ Kobe in some ways except a couple seasons from MJ. That is where people draw the line, those guys good games or bad games, they won games, and they were ther e teams closers, leaders. So even for the PER junkies, wade had a better per ,but more importnatly Wade wa their closer, leader and the guy they trusted in the end. Great is not a stat, its a hollistic whole leadership, that si why people have a problem with lebron being up there. If he was compared like pippen as a top greatest player and does everything, i think people would find that reasonable. With Nash and malone, multiple MVPs,0 champions, great players, but not in consideration about the all time greats like MJ and the wons who have won titles
LOL, nobody was like LeBron. Cavs had a high seed in regular season, beaten up some weak eastern low seeds that wouldn't make playoff in west to begin with, then LeBron surprisingly choked badly against worthy competition. His stats dropped off historically in the 07 spurs series, 10 celtics series, 11 mavs series. We are talking about a repeated pattern here. PER is biased against different types of offense. But it's much more accurate to compare players in the same team. Once he gets to a team that doesn't do LeBron offense, Wade proved he's a better player in postseason.
I don't remember Nash or Malone ever being called the best player in the game, or ever having the best team in the league and being favored to win almost every series, only to consistently underachieve.
you mean the year lebron had the best individual playoff run ever? i was surprised he didn't mention it either. oh, and his stats didn't drop off historically in the 10 celtics series. he averaged 27/9/7 and held paul pierce to 13 ppg on 34% shooting.
