He was ALWAYS better than Curry. The MVP doesn't mean you're the best player.

Hell, Westbrook is better than Curry.

The thing that bugs me about Curry winning the MVP is that he doesn't have to carry his team to win. The Warriors are a good basketball team, regardless of how many minutes Curry is on the court. Not so much with Lebron. He elevates and carries his team, just as Harden does with the Rockets.

You mean that he's not getting enough slack, as in "cut me some slack." To give someone slack is to ease up on them or lower your expectations of them.

Curry is basically Reggie Miller 2.0, but with a better shooting stroke and on a team tailor made for a great three point shooter like him. He's on a deep team that can play solid defense and set beautiful screens to get him over. That, combined with the rule changes of this era versus when Miller played, is what allows Curry (and GSW) to be so much more effective and successful than the Reggie Pacers were.

Lebron and harden are the two best players in the NBA hands down. The things they can do for their teams night in and night out is incredible. kD is right their too when he's healthy..

    My lists

    1. LeBron

    2.Harden
    3. KD

Harden and KD will never be as good as lebron on D so their has to be a little gap.

Offensively harden needs to be taking notes because he can do the things lebron does on offense. Needs to focus more on getting shots up at the rim instead of fouls. This would give his bigs a chance to grab offensive rebounds. He also needs a post game. He's the 6'5 version of lebron both are huge for their positions.

kD is a freak iv never seen a 7 ft shooter like him, all the Steph curry hype has ppl forgetting that this guy is prob a better shooter has better handled and can get to the rim anytime he wants. He's just not the facilitator lebron and harden are. We got some special players in the league.

hell even curry is rally good but when the going gets tough he doesn't make his teammate better and he doesn't attack the paint he just settles for the craziest shots Iv ever seen. He's not a good finisher in the paint at all and has no mid range game nor does he draw fouls. But a wicked shooter off the bounce Forsure.

It's okay to say he's not as good as LeBron, but you have to be sh**ting us. Reggie was a shooter that came off screens again and again. Curry has the whole package. Best shooter in the league, especially off the dribble. Top 5 handles, elite playmaker, would even be a top 10 player with a mediocre shot. Can score in any way.

Comparing Curry to Miller is nuts.

Saying KD has better handles than Curry is bogus, don't know who you're watching.

Reggie if u watched him play was a competitor. He was tougher than Steph with hustle, defense and trash talking

That doesn't say anything about his skillset. Curry is way more complete, there's no debating. da_juice explicitly said he's like Reggie and scoring mainly because of screens and his team. It's simply not true, Curry is elite at creating for himself and also 10x the playmaker Reggie was.

I think Harden was the MVP this year, but in terms of best player - it's LBJ #1 no doubt but i think you have to put Westbrook in at #2. he's the 6'3 version of LeBron.

KD is a better scorer, but he isn't a better shooter than Curry. and no way does he have better handles than Curry. Curry and Kyrie have the best handles in the league. but yes, i would say KD, along w/ Lebron Harden and Westbrook and probably Chris Paul are all better players than Curry

If the Cavs win this does this completely redeem Lebron for the loss to Dallas in the Finals? I don't think it does but it surely wipes off a large amount of tarnish on his legacy due to that collapse.

i wonder though if Curry already reached his ceiling. He will be figured out sooner or later. Guys like Lebron, harden, westbrook and KD will always be better because they could join any NBA team and make them a play-off team. With curry i dont think he's really capable of doing that. he needs a special system and specific players to really shine. I mean when harden got here our second option was Parson and Lin and we still made it to the play-off.

What happened to all the homers on this site who claimed Cleveland would get swept because the east is so weak and even the Rockets or Clippers would beat the Cavs, etc

It seems like now everyone switched to hating on the warriors.

Lebron's intelligence for the game just keeps shining through...that steal he had on the inbounds play typifies what people say about the dude. He remembers everything; almost like photographic memory. He saw their set up and knew that play was coming, jumped the route and made a huge steal to seal the game. Lebron is truly a great player, and respect has to be given.
