The analogy is not intentionality but the blatant obviousness in this case and the regularity of LeBron getting away with this kind of play. Just like flopping, there are blatantly obvious flops and there are debatable flops. Just like floppers, there are occasional floppers and there are regular floppers whom the refs regularly fall for. Nobody would give a flip if the player doesn't flop much and the act wasn't very obvious. Nobody would start a thread if some random player added a debatable step and the refs missed it.
Over their careers Wade averages more turnovers/game and Lebron is better in nearly every stat, do not compare Wade to Lebron.
Not sure if this post is serious. But if it is, here's your answer to why many LeBron fans never get any respect with delusional posts like these.
I am sorry, I don't get it, I may be complimenting him, but its not just my opinion. The facts are there aren't they? Did you not see the PER? He is comparable to MJ right now and he is only 27, Jordan didn't have a championship at this point too. Its safe to say lebron will have a higher assists rate as it is and is known to be more willing passer. He is still growing and is already matching MJ in PER. Its one thing to sayi am just saying lebron is better, but its nother thin tht all the stats back up what I said. That MJ is the only guy in lebron's level in terms of production and that he is likely(given how young he is, no?) to pass him ,and that the lebron vs kobe arguments are just laughable literally as no one in the league right now compares. Once again, the stats back me up on this. And the rest of the hate is just that, hate. The guy went to a team to win a title and donated money along the way, he gets hated for wanting to be a winner? I am sorry, its only jelousy for lebron and i feel bad he gets judged on some differnet level because he spoiled fans bc he isn't a brat like MJ or Kobe but is more humble and doesn't focus on individual accolades
Big men get the most missed travel calls by far. I don't even think it's that, he's just an athletic freak of nature, when he dribbles the ball downcourt and goes up for a dunk, I don't think he intends to take extra steps, it's just natural to him. I've seen LeBron get called for traveling many times. I don't think he's intentionally traveling.
The only reason people get upset at LeBron for traveling is because he is arguably the best player in the league. Tim Duncan travels more than LeBron, no one ever calls him out on it. Andrew Bynum does it all the time. I don't believe that LeBron is intentionally traveling. In my high school basketball days, there were plays where people said that I obviously traveled, but I had no idea. In this play, I believed that he was just focused on getting a shot up. I don't think that in the back of his mind he said to himself "let me take that extra step.." if he was, then he is basically one of the best basketball players in the world without even concentrating on it. Flopping, on the other hand, is completely intentional. LeBron James has flopped, and if a thread was started about that, then I would comment saying how much I hated it. If you are going to get upset at LeBron traveling, then get upset at the fact that the refs don't/didn't call it.
