Hinrich fell down because he got run over. to the extent he brought Lebron down with him, it's because lebron was running him over. if it was a tackle... who cares? that's just semantics.

I can recall hundreds of plays i've seen where a defender ends up "wrapping up" the offensive player. those typically are not flagrants or suspensions either. the falling down part here is a matter of phsyics, and lebron leading shoulder first.

i heard about these plays on the radio this morning and expected a lot worse. those were not that tough.

it was boring at times, but adding back a little bit of late 80's through Ron Artest crazy back into the NBA game sure would be fun.

I can't remember the last time a player of LBJ's caliber has complained to the media about hard fouls as much as he does.

If you don't want to get a hard foul...take a floater.

You right......LBJ shouldn't have tried to run over Hinrich....this isn't football.

That wasn't a basketball play in the least.

Those are not flagrant fouls, first one against hinrich he tries to bull his way into the defender trying to get a foul/and1. Second foul was not a flagrant foul Gibson, jimmy butler is the player that really fouled him

Talking about physically play, Lebron always tried to physically bully his defender, and when the defender plays physical on him he complains.

Interesting comment given the fact that James shoots fewer free throws per game than Kobe despite taking the ball inside more frequently.

    Fouls make the game boring.

Two things. First, the OP is a huge Kobe fan and almost all of his threads are about Kobe. Second, he opened the thread with 'Welcome to the world of Shaq, Dwight, and Kobe.'

Now if we're talking about the physical abuse Shaq, Dwight, Lebron, and Kobe take, which one of those guys doesn't really belong? I'll take the jump shooter who still manages to get to the line more this season than Lebron.

Kobe? You talking about the same Kobe who is primarily a jump shooter but shoots more FTs than Lebron?
Now you are comparing Lebron to Centers now too? Lol thats rich.

Sorry next time don't mention Kobe if you want any credibility not that you have any due to your poor arguments.

I don't get why people are complaining about this. LeBron gets fouled harder than anyone in the league today due to his size/strength. Both of those fouls could have been flagrant, that second foul where Gibson raked him across the face/neck was definitely flagrant. Had it been Kobe, or Durant (a smaller player) it would have easily been a foul.

And LeBron was complaining just after this game because there were a lot more hard fouls in this game than other games in the streak, not because they just lost.

Anyone saying that Hinrich tackling Lebron was okay because he was trying to stop a layup is FOS...if you do that to anyone on a basketball court you're fighting, PERIOD. It's a p***y ass play that gets your ass whooped. That's not tough D, it's "I can't stop you so I'll grab you in anyway I can even though you're running full speed". Lebron would've coasted by Hinrich's right side while he was sliding left and would've made it if he didn't grab the dude. That's how people get hurt...Lebron was out of control? Yeah you'd be too if you're running full speed and are grabbed and pulled down by some awkward white guy that had no chance to stop you from scoring in the first place. Hinrich knew he was out of position and would've been called for a defensive block...that's why he did whatever he could to stop Lebron from making an and 1 play...he pulled him down flagrantly.

Apparently Lebron needs to start throwing punches to stop this crap. The league and the refs will start calling it properly if he starts a few fights, a la Shaq.

Nah, Lebron should just take it...apparently there is no limit to the amount of physical contact he should take before he complains...he's just a p***y afterall

If somebody lowers their shoulder towards me while going to the basket we might be fighting after that too. Let's not act like Lebron wasn't in bulldozing mode with his shoulder dipped when he got grabbed. People wrap up players going for layups all the time. If LeBron isn't leaning in to Hinrich he never falls like that. Still not a great decision by Hinrich but LeBron caused that too.

You should definitely keep posting this same thing in any thread that mentions Kobe.
