Looks to me like kobe just slipped and had nothing to do with the move Lebron put on. I am not a kobe fan but just because someone slips playing defense doesn't mean it was caused by the ball handler. This is an ankle breaking crossover. Hell Lebron hadn't even changed directions when Kobe slipped. He was going all left hand. Kobe actuall slipped as he anticipated Lebron going back to his right and had he not he would have been in perfect position to beat lebron to that spot on the court. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNPYSeby4k8&feature=related
I was prepared to give credit where it's due, but this is as much as ankle breaker as Cook is our rotation player.

Some real ankle breakers.
I'm no fan of Kobe, but it looked like he was trying to take the charge and flopped, not realizing that Lebron was going to do a spin move first.
Watch the replay from the top down camera angle. Lebron clearly breaks Kobe's ankle (or slipping for Kobe apologists), from Lebron's hesitation move before his spin. While spinning, Kobe already fell and his legs trip Lebron. Ankles aren't just broken on crossovers, but the fact that a defender tried to react to the offensive player's move faster than his body can move.
Our own resident T-Mac has crossed BOTH LeBron and Kobe! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Mvm5dUXDJoM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Mvm5dUXDJoM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QR1kz_9XYdk&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QR1kz_9XYdk&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
am i the only who noticed that kobe tripped lebron on purpose? and by the way kobe got his ankle broke
From the thread titled I was prepared to see a nice crossover and then I clicked the vid. He didn't even cross him over and they both ended up falling over each others feet. If this was some other guy not named Kobe Bryant I doubt there would even be a thread about this. Basically Kobe saw LeBron extend his arm out and Kobe flopped. End of the story
Pathetic on the part of some of you. Lebron is a great player and some of you are going to point to this and brag? Go get on youtube and get some of the many, many highlights of the man to brag about and just admit Kobe slipped no thanks to James' move.
Exactly! I love seeing this tool mash his head on the court after getting his ankles broken and then tripping Bron.
