I don't think they would manhandle the Lakers. If Bynum can somehow manage to stay healthy for an entire season he is better than Noah. And Bosh is better than Gasol but not by a whole lot. The Lakers also have Artest who is a pretty good person to have to hold Lebron. Plus you have to factor in all the playoff experience the Lakers have. I think it would be a close series that could go either way.

Also, it seems like to me that Rose and Lebron aren't exactly the perfect match. They both seem like ball dominant players that aren't that great of shooters. I'm not convinced of how effective they will be having to play off the ball. However, if the Bulls could also find a way to get some good shooters to put around those two then I would feel like they were the favorites to win it all.

    Noah / Miller
    Bosh / Warrick
    James / Gibson
    Deng / Pargo
    Rose / Law

that's just it though. Bosh doesnt have to be. LBJ alone added to the Bulls could beat the Lakers imo. Bynum is never going to be the consistent player they need and granted LA has more playoff experience, it isnt like the rest of the bulls and LBJ don't.

i just think Bosh+Noah>Gasol+Bynum (esp. with Kobe taking all the shots)

    2009-2010

    Noah: 11RB, 1.6Blks, 10.7PTS
    Bynum:8.3RB, 1.4BLKS, 15 PTS

    (basketball-reference.com)
i dont really see Bynum as decidedly better than Noah. he is a better scorer but why would they need him to score if they had LBJ, Bosh, and Rose? If the Bulls have trouble scoring with those 3 and need Noah to step up his scoring then theyre prolly gonna lose anyway.

it isnt about a Lebron team vs. the Bulls are not the Cavs. with Rose and LBJ leading the scoring and dishing; the bulls are a legit contender. LBJ is the X-factor. go ahead and bet against the Bulls if they manage to get LBJ. after all you have a history of winning those bets right? in fact if the bulls manage to keep Noah and Rose and add LBJ then i'll make some wagers with you.

I'd take that bet right now!!!!!

$5000 says that after 40 games playing together, the following lineup will beat any team in the nba in a 7 game series!!

    Noah
    Bosh
    Lebron
Raja Bell (or equivalent defensive sg with spot up shooting ability)
    Rose

This is stupid. Each team (coach+GM+front office) will have a chance to make their pitch. Until that happens, nothing is a done deal. We all know Chicago and Miami have the upper hand. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.

It doesn't matter if he is proven because mj did not win for a long time either and wasn't proven but Imagin if lebron is already a good team by himself in clevland than I can only imagine it being VERY good adding two all stars!!!!

And pao gasol wasn't proven and now is now he is on a good team and proven himself so I think bosh will be on a gud team also so he would have the chance to prove himself.

And also to add rose has showed his determination in the playoffs against Boston and that was an epic seris.
