My friend's friend is in the Peace Corps in Dallas and they had to do a Habitat for Humanity-like thing for NBA Cares. He said LeBron and Amare just sat around doing nothing until the cameras were on them.

this is a non-issue. everyone around the league does it. When you're in the zone, you aren't focusing on anything else. that ASG NBA Cares story is sad to hear though. I feared that was the case but I hoped it wasn't true.

I wonder what choreographed act Queen James is going to pull next game. He gave us a little teaser towards the end of the last game with the whole "All eyes on me right now...I can't raise my right arm, so I'm going to shoot a crucial free throw with my left, then I'm going to be 100% OK to stay in the game for the final defensive stand." I'm thinking its going to be some sort of song and dance routine involving, Delonte "Herpes Sore" West and a two step number where they seemingly "forget" millions of people are watching and think they are back at their girls high school softball dugout
It's like that 6yo getting iced by Ovechkin, it's kind hard to tell if it's a dick move or not, either way those kids are getting a memory they won't soon forget.
It may be a minor big deal to some of you. And sure, that's what these kids are paid to do. I don't have any children. Personally though if I did, I don't care WHO it is, I would not appreciate anybody displaying that type of disrespect to my kid. I'm sure the player's intention is not to be rude, but not acknowledging that kid is totally unacceptable. Sadly, superstars are the role models children look up to. And for them to be exposed to this type of behavior is just terrible. Lebron is talented player but he's not a messiah of any kind. He has no right to do this. I think PTI/Around the horn/NBA on TNT should put him on blast cause of this. That would be hilarious.
