and yet u have not made YOUR argument. cant believe hwo ONE season just after a back injury that cost him an offseason with no training and ppl expect him to come back like it's nothing he ain't god.
I weight their ability to carry their teams to playoff victories a lot more than 1 on 1 match-ups. So Tmac can get up for Lebron and can outplay him on singular occasions. Maybe Kobe can to. But Lebron is more relentless throughout games and throughout seasons. He more consistently pressures opponents defenses and gets him teammates on his back. That translates to more playoff success as "the man"--which both Tmac and Kobe are searching for.
he plays in the freakin east. what was our record without yao v. the east? we would OWN. and look at his playoff stats, the last 2 games have been his best games, which equal 2 of tmac's great games. he has been good the rest. he has shot about 41% v. weaker competition. so take that with a grain of salt
-Tmac had most of his playoff failures in the East. -The East has won two of the last 3 titles, and like 11 of 18 finals games. -Lebron is only 1 of 3 players Detroit--one of the winninging teams playoff wise and regular season over the last 4 years, hasn't remotely been able to contain. The others were Wade and Shaq (the 3 years ago version). They found going against Duncan and Kobe during this period actually easier sledding. Keep on deluding yourself and making excuses. Lebron is proving he is one of the top players in the league in the most important time of the year. I am more interested in results (winning) that an individual state line--not that Lebron's are not impressive. Lebron is somewhat like Magic in that the stat line does not do justice to what they do for their team. It is unfortunate Lebron got all this undeserved hype early in his career, I was one of those who was a detractor, but if anything now he is underrated.
LeBron's teams were never the underdog except when he runs into the Pistons. I mean this year alone he faced the Wizards without Arenas and Butler, and the Nets. That's not very high level competition. Oh wait, let me rephrase that, those two teams are pathetic. If we had to go through the same path Cleveland is taking now, I say we'd make the finals. Heck I bet even without Yao we'd crush the first two teams and take Detroit to 7.
Yeah, that is what everyone was saying when the Pistons played the Lakers and the Heat played the Mavs. That poor hopeless eastern conference. IMO Utah is the weak link of the conference finals teams (what did they lose like 8 of 10 with home court on the line and they also drew a barely 500 team in round 2). I have no doubt Cleveland could play with Utah if not beat them, Utah has noone to remotely slow Lebron.
Well, LeBron just threw down back to back dunks on the last two possessions of game 5 of the ECF. I can't think of the last time Tracy put down back to back dunks, ever.
yea man, this performance has shut me up. he is NOW the best player on the planet. he's only 22. dare i say he will be a top 2-3 player in the history of the game when it's said and done. kobe can't play an overall game like him. wade can't do this. tmac can't do this. lebron has def. shown next yr, he will officially be the best player. in a few yrs, he would be 5-6 levels ahead of everybody. when he retires, he'll be top 2-3 of all time. wow.
but i just want to say, is lebron resorting to jumpers too? but he's making them. tmac has to work on them. his J has caused him tremendous failure as an offensive player. but that last shot was BAD
Wow. Sorry T-Mac, but your play has never made me feel like I just witnessed a HUGE moment in basketball history like I do right now. LeBron>Tracy
wow... that was amazing. it was the best basketball i've seen played by an individual yet. That was just amazing.
