I think the only player traded out of the 3 would be Granger. Maybe Chicago would consider doing a soft blow up to build around rose and Noah by trading Deng and amnesty boozer.

But i think Chicago keeps Deng. Maybe amnesty boozer, probably more likely to do it next season.

I think Portland offers all their cap room for the best fa C in pekovic at around 11-12mill. And see if the core of lillard/batum/lma can compete. I think they could with peko.

I think Indy does in fact pursue trades for Granger. They need A better bench and need to retool strategically against Miami.

Didn't you say Lin is over valued and/or over paid, so why would anyone take on that remaining contract? There is no chance Howard will take less money. Even if he wants to, his agent will talk him out of that.

I think we have no chance to get LMA, we don't have anything outside of Asik & Harden that Portland would want in return.

No way asik nets us la. I would love to have him, he's a special player, but I don't see how we could make it happen.

3 team deal also moving parsons is the only possible way IMO.

Aldridge would be awesome, but some of these deals are about as far fetched as me seeing Lakers fans posting on their boards "Hey let's get Chandler parsons. We can give them Steve Blake". Portland isn't going to give us Aldridge for Asik and fillers. They will require us to take backl salary and bad contracts. Maybe even batum's. There goes all your money for Howard.

Aldridge is a franchise player. Not a max player, but he is a starting PF on a championship team. He is not going to be given away. At this point, I see it as Howard or LMA and some bad contracts.

    I'll tell ya'll my worst fear(s)

    1. Howard says he wants to play in Miami and Lakers sign and trade him for Bosh. Idk if this is possible I remember in the CBA there are only certain situations in which the Lakers can s/t Howard because of them being over the cap. But max for a max and with Kobe and Pau expiring (or even Pau amnestied) they have a ton of cap space to "reload" around Bosh

    2. Portland trades LMA and Batum's contract to Miami for Bosh and Battier.

None of these guys will be traded. Maybe Granger but still doubtful.

He never said they would be traded, just that they're candidates to be traded.

    Blah blah blah

Bosh's value took a monster hit after the playoffs. There's no way in hell the Lakers take Bosh.

I can't see any reason why Portland would trade LMA. Nor why they would trade Deng after amnestying Boozer - do they WANT to piss Derick Rose off?

    Lin
    Harden
    Parsons
    LMA
    Howard

Looks like a Winner to me......

Then you could move Lin for a cheaper contract PG that can Shoot lights out and Play D (ala Toney Douglas)...

We have Parsons....... And I would trade him for a team like Howard, Harden, And LMA.

Asik, Parsons, young pf 's and our draft picks......

far fetched to get so lucky, but it would be GREAT!!

If we do get Howard and LMA what about parsons contract he will be due BIG money and Aldridge too there's no way we can afford harden parsons d12 and LMA I think parsons has to go if we get LMA in a 3 team deal
    Hou gets LMA
    Portland gets asik/?
    ? Gets parsons
    Now fill in the blanks

If you sign Howard first the. You could theoretically do a trade... Except i don't think you could find $24 million to send back at that point ($13 for LMA and $11 for Batum). Player for player would I give up/include Parsons if i got LMA and Batum, assuming you had Dwight and Harden still. Batum is actually the same age as Parsons and they are similar players.

It's just his $11 million for the next 3 years is so so ridiculous and way too much for your clearly 4th best player (at best) at that point.

Exactly. If you're going to toss out Aldridge as an example, you need to say why. I don't feel sorry for rich athletes, but don't #### with their Summer unless you have legit reason to.

I'm guessing the sources are legit but why would Portland give up on their team? Lillard Matthews batum Aldridge
They're one good free agent from being a legit playoff team. Aldridge is not going to be traded for a good roll player he's going to be traded for a high profile player and that's def not asik. Honestly I think he stays. As for luol deng I don't see him being shipped out because now that butler has emerged and rose is coming back they are a great starting 5, they just need to solidify their bench with a backup 5 and a back up pg/sg because they aren't keeping Hamilton.

Granger is most likely to move and that's prob to a really desperate team that a. Doesn't attract fa b. has a good player but is overpaid at the 2/3 spot.
Teams that come to mind that could give Indy what they need
Twolves: ak47. He was pretty good for them but he's not sure if he wants to stay
Cavs: maybe gee or just picks
Hornets: willing to part with picks

Players that are for sure moving are kg and pierce but they aren't going to the clippers.

Miami could only get Howard in a S&t for Bosh if they amnesty Wade first. They are so far above the $74MM apron that prevents you from receiving players in a S&T.

I agree. It'd take Parsons and Asik at a minimum, and I still don't know why Portland would take that deal -- I also don't know why they'd deal him at all.

    Portland could use Parsons.

Anyway, Aldridge deals make no sense to me. I will start believing it when Woj reports it.
