I have Comcast and live in Katy. I get League Pass every year, because I love the NBA. Are there any HD channels for League Pass on Comcast? The past couple of years, I have not noticed any. Any information would help.

Last year the early-bird was $84.95.

I found what you were looking at. For us in the states, the sign-up for NBALPBB 2009/10 isn't available yet. If the NBA offers us the early-bird for the same $89.95 as they do internationally, I'll sign up. If they let me sample the HD and the quality is good enough, maybe $140.00 will work. The only issue I had last season was the full-screen quality wasn't quite up to snuff.

can someone give me a link to LP broadband?

I go to NBA.com and click the link and it asks me to sign up for future info.

Here is a link to International League Pass Broadband, which is available right now. http://ilp.nba.com/. I'm assuming the same prices will be available to us in the U.S. shortly.

To those who really love NBA basketball, NBALPBB is well worth it. Regular League Pass is too. Even if you only watch 4-5 non-Rockets games per week, you will learn a whole lot more about the NBA. It'll take you to another level. The best NBA action does not happen on national TV.

For anyone in Austin, I just bought League Pass for Time Warner Cable this morning at the early-bird price of $170.

Thanks for the heads-up. Since they don't show the preseason games, guess I'll wait 'til the last minute to sign up. As always, I'll ask to pay the entire amount at once, because my wife hates seeing 4 months of much higher T/W bills, which don't show up until the season is half over, but doesn't care if I just paid a lump sum amount at the start of the season. I absolutely hate that they won't let you pay that way.

    1) That's the package that gets the games on TV and on broadband?

    2) Is that HD or NORMALD

    3) Did you get the full package, or can you get a "CHOICE" package of fewer teams/games?

    4) Is there a link somewhere online to see details of what is being offered? The NBA league pass site only shows broadband, and is more scarce in information that it was before they updated it with an actual offer for this season.

    1. I'm not sure about the broadband setup, as I'm only going to be watching LP on my TV, but DD mentioned a couple of days ago that it was free with the purchase of the TV package.

    2. HD.

    3. I'm pretty sure they only offer one package, which shows up to 40 games/week, including every HOU game. There's not a cheaper package that only broadcasts the Rockets games.

    4. The LP site sucks. It immediately takes you to a screen briefly describing the 2 options (TV and broadband), and it asks you to enter your email to receive information on LP. I just called my cable provider, they gave me the run down, and set everything up.

I checked, and the game wasn't on last night.

Apparently, they don't have the rights to broadcast pre-season games (mentioned in the thread), but I may be completely wrong. I have LP for Time Warner, and I didn't get the game in Austin.

Maybe Time Warner didn't get the rights but Dish sure did. They didn't broadcast the first two games but since then I've been able to watch every game and look forward to the rest. I guess I should add that I live in Denton, Tx.

Or maybe the BB gods are looking favorably at me. :D

lol. there's one thing that's clear. cable companies and nba.com don't have a clue.

I'm still curious if my account (nbalp broadband) is set to auto renew. I'm trying to figure out how that would work under the new format.

When I first mentioned the LP package to the representative, she was confused, and she placed me on hold for a couple of minutes to "check the system." When she came back, she confirmed that TW was offering LP, and she set everything up.

The LP channel is 1649 on my TV.

Looks like the channels popped up over the weekend for me on DirecTV.

not sure if they will so any preseason games on there there was one channel that did show something like mavs vs rockets for the 23rd...so i am hoping i can finally see a game since i wont be able to watch the season opener or the GS game first game i'll be able to see is the home opener vs portland.

    (live that is)
