restrictions, as in you were restricted to 7 teams? the blackout restrictions are a doozy, no doubt about it. but they will still apply to NBA LP BB
nope. I use it mostly at home on WIFI so I always get a clear picture. if I use the network it all depends. If you lose signal it auto switches to audio only then back after signal is back.
Cool, I'll probably buy it tomorrow since living in Maine I won't be seeing many Rockets games without it.
They would not take my time warner account number.....gonna have to fax it in again when I get back to Austin. Sigh. DD
But then I would have stopped chatting.... Oh wait....I am on to your evil plan Hayes !! Thanks for the offer, seriously, uh, if you are serious skype it to me, and I will use it for tomorrow's game. DD
So... after two weeks of failed solutions, talking to time warner, and trying to contact inDemand, I resorted to using the automated tech support on leaguepass.nba.com. Before I had a bill, this seemed not promising since that's all they ask for there, but more importantly, I had hoped talking to people would have resolved it... it didn't. Further, I had very little hope in their "automated systems" as witnessed by the activation process itself. So, anyway, I submitted a ticket. Basically they told me the same thing, which is, if it isn't working, send a bill... well guess what, Time Warner finally send me one that i can email that does reflect the charge/subscription. So i did... and they opened a trouble ticket.... MORE THAN THREE DAYS AGO. Yes, that's right, now I've waited another 4 days after sending my bill to them showing the charge. No update, no word, and no activation. I'm coming up on the three week mark for this, and needless to say I'm unimpressed.... though I will say that it seems to be on inDemand's/NBA's part that things haven't been working. TW activated my NBALP service, it's on my bill, I just can't get LP to activate broadband. When they didn't have a bill, I couldn't tell if it was just them not holding hands and communicating, or if it was a problem of my TW bill not showing the charge/subscription, but now that it's in NBA/inD's hands, it seems they just aren't in a hurry to make this work. All this for something that should be happening automatically. And seriously, what needs to be done, send me a password? You'd think it's coming across the planet via smoke signal. At this point it would be nice if someone would just care. My "trouble ticket" is sitting on their support site now for 3+ days labeled "Work In Progress"... seriously?
I feel you CrazyDave. I had plenty of trouble activating my account with my 7 teams. I had to figure it out on my own after I requested TWO live phone calls (received zero calls back), a live chat session gave me an answer I didn't need, followed by "this chat session has ended" and when I submitted a ticket they suggested I use Firefox?? once I finally worked it all out, the free preview ended and my account did not automatically renew itself (as i was told it would based on an e-mail sent 10/23) I had to re-register for LPBB at the non-discount rate, log back in and submit a brand new ticket to request the $10 refund for early bird discount. I got a reply yesterday saying my account is active and I should be getting a refund... i missed two games in real time trying to figure this out...
So my broadband TV companion finally worked (finally...jesus). My question is how many accounts can you sing up for on NBA.com with the same activation number? Or can you just sign up for one but you can log in on multiple computers at the same time? There's three of us splitting league pass for the first time and we're not sure how it works exactly yet...
yup restrictions in terms of only 7 teams. i thought i could handle it because i have work and school. i didn't think i had the time to watch a lot of games. but one of my friends offer to share the broadband with me so i said, well heck let's do it thank god i did that. i saw brandon jennings' destruction of chauncey billups like a lil punk
Question for those that have LP. The reception on my LP leaves a lot to be desired. I am on Comcast in Georgia. On the LP channels I am getting a lot of "cut outs" in terms of Audio. Video is fine, but the audio cuts in and out. I have had LP for a number of years and this situation hasn't happened before. Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't know if is a LP thing, or perhaps it is my local cable provider/Comcast problem.
LP BBroadband Customer Support finally comes through in the clutch. I asked to switch one of my 7 teams to the Bucks so I could see the rest of Brandon Jennings' season, normally you can't switch teams once you've locked them in. but I submitted a ticket and just stated my case that I had headaches dealing with activating the account in the first week or two and that I wanted to witness something special in Jennings... they replied within minutes and changed my account for me
I love that I can chose between broadcasts and that they replay the games. I watched Bill and Bull, of course, during the contest, and have the LA team on now, just to see how they react over the course of the game, and what they thought of some of the calls. We were screwed on several.
Does anyone who has NBA League Pass on Time Warner get HD feeds (I'm in Dallas)? I am disappointed that I pay the same amount as those with satellite, but don't get HD feeds. Unfortunately, Time Warner is the only option I have for cable TV.
I still can't get the NBA Broadband companion to work, need to fax in my bill AGAIN THIS YEAR...I guess. DD
I emailed it to them as an attachment... then talked to the nba.com rep yesterday. It wasn't in time for yoyo to use it, but it's working today.
weird mine was working and then it stopped will look into why maybe i have to send in a copy of my bill
