I moved to San Antonio this year, and I have Time Warner Cable. I was wondering if I will be able to watch the Rockets games in HD (if it's at all broadcasted in HD) or will there just be a 'select NBA LP HD channel' that only airs one of the games in HD. I remember someone telling me it was the latter, but I'd like someone who can confirm this. DD, I remember you saying you live in Austin, do you get Rockets games in HD. Thanks for any help.
Fullcourt, I also live in San Antonio and have been a customer of NBALP (although, it was with Dish Network). Anyways, a majority of the time, there are HD feeds of the game. The times it doesn't is when they play smaller markets, from what I can remember. I hear they're always trying to broadcast more games in HD for all games. But overall, a majority of the games are in HD.
Anyone care to chime in with LP on CABLE? I've had lp the past 5 years with the past 4 years on directv. It has had I would say 90% of rox games in HD. Now I'm forced to get cable. And was wondering what % of gamEs are in HD. Thx
I get it every year, most of the games are NOT in HD......with Time Warner, they pick one a night to put on their HD channel. Maybe this year will be different. DD
It really depends on the provider and they are all adding more HD channels each year. When I had TW in Austin during the 22 streak season, there was one HD channel for LP games out of 10 channels. I have COX now in AZ, and while the LP said the games were in HD, Cox doesn't have any LP HD channel.
