Don't complain, you are the lucky one already. I have no idea why NBA is reluctant to extend their International Broadband League Pass to Hong Kong. I have been asking for 2 or 3 consecutive years. They even block out Hong Kong from viewing their videos in nba.com and you know what worse? Since last season, the videos in rockets.com started to be managed by nba.com and those press conference, rockets specific feature videos were all gone too. I keep complaining to different parties. There was a couple days in this offseason we were able to watch the videos again but just before the regular season commences, all of them are gone again. NBA.com and NBA.tom.com can both go to hell.
I don't understand why they have to blackout the local games even after they are completed. Can't they open the local games up for viewing once they enter the archive? I say this, because I live in Houston and have no interest in buying cable. I would gladly buy the LPBB if they would allow me to watch Rockets games.
From the NBA's standpoint, if you could watch Rockets games after the fact on LPBB, you would have less incentive to watch them on FSN (either live or on replay). This would circumvent the reason for the blackout to start with. The NBA doesn't want LPBB to affect local coverage of teams.
