no doubt about it. but every jury is different. recently, i've been very impressed the intelligence of harris county juries.
They were right. Lay was convicted on all 6 charges, and Skilling was convicted on more than 16 charges.
No, the ">" symbol still means what it stands for. I am a little concerned about what kind of math education you've received, though.
I'm doing a little I-told-you-so dance for all the people that thought that being a rich republican was going to protect them. Thadeus, I believe they'll do a second phase of the trial for punishment and the jury can get back to work to determine a prison sentence.
It means greater than. So bigtexxx was right. You have turned into a complete douche lately, what is your deal?
WTF??? Is there any contradiction on the number of convictions Lay and Skilling received and what the "pundits" [you scornfully put in quotation marks] predicted?
Why do you think bigtexxx put pundits in quotation marks? Didn't he prepare to give them a ho-ho-ho if the verdict turns out to be in Lay and Skilling's favor?
Not sure why you're still swinging at texx there wnes. He said they'd be found guilty...they were...and, I suspect that's the verdict you were hoping for. Time to chase another windmill.
I didn't follow the actual trial much but all I have to say is that I don't know how a ceo could claim he didn't know what was going on with the company's finances. I know everyone deserves a fair trial, but that's pretty ridiculous.
