You were introduced to the Houston Rockets by your dad just like they were introduced to the Houston Rockets by Yao Ming. You have evolved to become 'a die-hard big and true Rocket fan', will they at least evolve to become somewhat Rockets fans one day? Why do you think they won't?
Because it's all about Yao. I kind of put it on par with those guys who claim to be Laker fans because they think Kobe is cool. They change team affiliation to whoever has the trendiest player. Whatever, I don't have time for it.
YOF were the guys who want Yao to succeed even if the team didn't, and there were even guys who wanted him to get traded to a larger market team. Those guys don't fit your description either Cohen.
All I can say is that some people in this board are not educated. Just follow Tmac's plays, he can lead us some Ws.
I still don't even understand why this thread was started. Due to his injury and overall issue fatigue, Yao related threads/posts, and fanatical Yao boosting and or Yao bashing has been at an all-time low of late. But I'm sure this thread will solve the issue forever.
I'll have you know that my fish is much bigger than my heart, which are both smaller than my salami. Or not. I haven't measured lately.
A YOF is pretty much anyone who likes Yao and actually thinks he's a good player. Last year - anyone who made mention of Yao getting bad calls or not getting enough touches was branded a YOF. Hell some "Rocket" fans here get pissed when Yao (who is on the team) gets a lot of All-Star votes.
