I whole-heartedly agree with this post. You can not pidgeonhole me with labels, I am much too complex a person for that. Kinda similar to what glynch and Jeff wrote...

I have issues with both sides, and go from one side of the fence to the other depending on the issue. I believe that what I don't like should not necessarily be legislated.

    For gun control
    For pot legalization
    For tort reform
    Against big government
    Against higher taxes
For freedom to live your own life without government interference
    For death penalty

    Mrs JB.....:D....:D

I was going to vote "liberal" until I read this. I agree so strongly with this sentiment, after seeing all my college students show these heinous thong tops, that I now consider myself conservative.

A question such as this calls for a classic re-post.

You'd think working on something for over a month would have better results...I guess not.

I'm not voting yet because I don't know. When 3 of 5 posters pigeonhole me in one place or another, I'll vote that way. Reading glynch's post was too funny. He may not know how to categorize himself, but I know where every poster in the bbs would put him. Maybe I'm in the same boat as glynch. So let me see a show of hands, those who don't have me on your ignore list yet, should I vote liberal or conservative?

JV, I've always maintained that you are the hardest person to label on this board.

Lookie there, the back-slapping cadre's mission is working. Keep voting conservative cadre. :D

As an independent, I can't vote in yall's little poll. The 2-party system screws me again.

Mulder, that's a very cool graph but a very crappy test. I left 3/4ths of the answers on Maybe because I wouldn't go wholeheartedly Yes or No on them; and yet I landed within a stone's throw of you in Left Liberal. In your graph, I'd think I'd fall in the Authoritarian category.

I think I mentioned this before on this board, but I'll mention it again since it is topical. A prof passed this theory along to me and I think it is somewhat problematic but still interesting. He said, internationally, those who believe Man is innately evil are conservative and those who believe Man is innately good are liberal. In that paradigm, I'm conservative.

I'll say conservative. And no way do conservatives outnumber liberal's on this board. I hope I was just missing the sarcasm in glynches post.:)
