And how do you know this for a fact? Also, how many of these people eat everything that is on their plate and don't take some home?

Regardless, if someone is eating 900+ calories at a restaurant, that is not the restaurant's fault.

From his shape, looks like the Taco Bell CEO is getting high on his own supply. Yikes. if that's rampant, they must have incredible overhead keeping the bathrooms clean at their corporate headquarters.

From childhood til, well now, I've never in my life gone to any asian restaurant where a couple was expected to "split" an entree.

In fact, I've seen certain restaurants that serve gigantic proportions have a surcharge for "sharing" a plate.

How do I know it for a fact?

#1: Their options aren't exactly "Italian Style."
#2: They refuse to state what the nutritional/caloric/fat intake is with each meal.

Do you want to argue the merits of Denny's after this, as well? This is all easily found on the net these days, after all.

Food is one of the few things where I'm pretty much an eexpert.

If you are using your personal experience as "facts", then my personal experience is that I have never gone to P F Chang's with my wife and not brought home around 4 meals worth of leftovers. Even if my wife and I split 2 entrees, we each bring home enough for an additional 2 meals.

I don't know about food, but you are an expert in tasteless jokes.

The way you eat isn't the way everybody else eats. Everytime, we(5-12 people) go to a Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant. We eat family style. Choose 3-4 entrees(1 entree for every 2-3 people), 1-2 appetizers. Pick what we want and eat it with white rice.

Often, there is a lazy susan to use to spin the entrees around. Those lazy susans in Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants are specifically made for people to split and share entrees.

Don't get defensive. America's food experts have agreed with my opinion, as well. But I guess you take the lettuce wraps to go, eh?

Sorry I busted your crappy restaurant.

    Umm, none?

I don't think you are eating correctly if this is a problem of yours.

My friends and family must be doing something right by splitting the entrees. We havent' had any weight issues. The women weigh about 100-110 lbs, and the guys weigh around 140-150 lbs, except for the tall guy who is at 180-190 lbs.

That has more to do with metabolism and exercise than caloric intake.

I used to be able to down an Ultimate Cheeseburger on Sourdough bread with curly fries and nary show a lb. of weight-gain.

Didn't mean it was healthy either, did it?

Splitting an entree 3 ways gets you less than 500 calories. It's much less than an Ultimate cheeseburger. When are you in your 30s-50s, its easy to stay skinny without exercise if you are ingesting only 500-800 calories for a meal.

Meanwhile, I see the same fat people at the office, who leave for the gym at work. They continue to wolf down huge entrees that is "1 serving", but would be 2-3 servings for us. So much for exercise over diet.. I enjoy doing what I want without having to exercise or feel all bloated from a "1 serving".

Let's break out the lazy susan at the chinese restaurant and split 2 entrees with 4 people.
