LOL, we don't know that Harden has ever showed up to a game drunk. Certain people on this board have said so (maybe you were one of them), especially after Game 5 of the WCF. This is nothing but speculation though and this is how stupid rumours get started. You see one pic of Harden at a strip club on the internet and suddenly in some of y'alls minds that is ALL he ever does. You probably think that he lives at strip clubs, except for the couple of hours every day that he has to spend on the court playing a game. You see a picture of him holding a bottle of an alcoholic beverage and suddenly Harden turns into an alcoholic with substance abuse problems. Seriously, just get a life and stop reading too much into everything. Let the guy go out to clubs or strip clubs if that is what he wants to do - as long as he shows up and continues to be a leader.. whats the problem exactly? I'm sure most of us go out every now and then after work and have a few drinks. So why can't basketball players do this?

If we can get Lawson, could we trade Jones, KPAP, and pick to NOP for Ryan Anderson? Good deal for both teams and last I heard, they were trying to trade him.
So it comes down to Rockets, Knicks and Lakers... money wise he chooses Lakers or Knicks... winning wise it's Houston.
If he is waived, could the 76ers claim him and trade him? Maybe Hinkie could do Morey a solid? I'm not sure if a player is claimed off of waivers if he can be traded.
Kings and Bulls are already paying enough for their point guards. Lakers are invested in the new rookie PG of the future. Knicks could be possible.
They could after 3 months I think. Or is it the next trade deadline. Something of the two. Certainly not right away.
Kings just gave $10 million into Rondo. I really think the Rockets could be a rehab (pardon the pun) for his career. Like Josh Smith, we would have a defined role for him, and play a style that can emphasize his positives.
Technically any team is a possible destination other than the Nuggets assuming he is willing to accept the minimum and they're willing to sign a drunk.
Do you know how many players in the NBA go out and party every night? A lot of them. I'll take TY as long as his outside stuff doesn't keep him off the court for the playoffs. Trade for him cheap before he gets waived b/c then there's no way we get him. Denver will likely now take the garbage we have to offer for matching instead of waiving.

I don't know if he sees himself that way, but I do. If he would accept getting starter type minutes but not actually being the starter, he would be a phenomenal addition to this team. I could see us having a ton of fun with some small ball lineups.
I don't know. They wasted...er, spent; spent...all that g.d. $$$$ on Kobe. It's probably his last year, and they might want to try and be competitive. To be fair, it's only summer league, but Russell's performance so far might have the Lakers thinking, "Uuuuuuum, yeah....don't know if he's ready." Granted, I don't think bringing in a DUI dude to mentor him would be their plan: "Kid, don't worry about it, you can play drunk, I've played drunk....sssh, here comes Kobe, keep this between us."
Comparing Lawson and Smoove is not apples to apples. Smoove never has had dependency issues, on the contrary he's been an exemplary member of his community everywhere he's been. He was a bad fit in Detroit, not a malcontent or a drunk.
