LeBron has blown off David Blatt a lot. And they reached the Finals. So there's that.

I liked his play for stretches last game; be great if he stepped up to fill some of the leadership vacuum on the team.

    This part is on Morey.

There were very good, very experienced assistant coaches the last 4 years and Morey didn't go get them..... Adams, Malone, Gentry, Carleisimo, Frank, Boylan.

I addressed this in a point of my own. Lebron is the head coach of whatever team he is on. Same goes for Spoelstra in Miami. Dude wasn't the coach of that team; Lebron was.

Lebron is the Peyton Manning of basketball. He runs the show. He's the best player on the planet, and he does things his way. Always has and always will.

Lebron ain't a Houston Rocket. Horrible comparison.

    Point A
If a player is NOT following orders from coaching, one of two things should happen...
    1. That coach should nail the player to the bench (regardless of the "star" label)
    2. If the coach fails to hold his players accountable, he should be fired - essentially he has proven that he has lost his team.

    Point B
Its time to relieve Harden from his role as the primary facilitator of the offense. He has proven to be careless/reckless with the ball in crucial points of the game throughout this season. The only way this happens...is if Ty Lawson demands this role. As we've all come to understand, Mchale's offense isnt complicated...We dont need Ty to just bring the ball up and then defer to Harden on the post or at the wings. Keep the ball and force Harden to move without the damn ball.

    Point C
This team needs a legit post scoring option. DMo, when he returns, will NOT be enough. Dwight is just not as reliable as before. Morey has to look players that give this team consistent post production. December cant come soon enough.

LeBron has blown off Blatt..... Kobe blew off Jackson and everyone else that had coached him...... Wade and Shaq blew off SVG....... Howard blew off SVG ....

It happens all the time, you just hope your players figure it out and buy in like the Warriors, Spurs etc.

This is exactly how Mchale will skate ladies and gentlemen. The reason why they don't run what he asks is because they know he doesn't know what he's talking about, lol. But I guess it's gonna take another ten games to figure that out that the players love their coach and won't say anything against him. The loyalty is admirable but also stupid. Keep in mind that we are making the same defensive mistakes since 2013. It can't be all on the players we've gotten new players since then and they are making the same exact defensive mistakes.

The season is at the crossroads as a result of this. Heads down butt up, they have to get it together. it's a long season and we can certainly turn it around. We just need to get these guys on the same page

It's not a good look, when you're in a position of authority and you're run over like that. It makes McHale look incompetent. You have to have the guts to address this directly and/or bench players.

I have speculated that the players are unsure of what their defined roles are. It looks like nobody is on the same page when they are playing. Some guys trying to do too much... things outside of what their role should be. Some guys aren't doing enough and aren't fulfilling what their role should be. Just completely disjointed.

It's promising that these issues seemed to be discussed in their meeting. They said they defined what their roles are and are now on the same page.

Said they had a really good practice after. We'll see... but it sounds promising.

The sad thing about this is Harden has to do so much for us to eek out a win. Contenders still win when their best players have a bad game. I don't we are even close to that. Especially without Josh Smith.

Now the players even want a different coach.

I'm sure i've read about players doing it, even TD doing it to Pop, but those are specific plays and there's usually a good chance the player saw something that called for it...but in these cases, where the team is losing and getting destroyed so consistently?

It's a shame people wanted Lawson traded. He needs to break out of his barrier, disobey Morey, and do his thing. We begged for a PG and we recieved a top 10 talent. Moreyball can't ruin this oppurtunity

You think Yao Ming or Scola would quit play the ball when your coach is not that good. Those lazy losers with $10-20 M salary can not act as professional adults on the TV, that is what we are seeing right now. Ty Lawson to remark that he team needed a meeting? Who is our team leader? Max players are not our team leader, then we got a huge problem.

Lawson is new. He didn't get the memo: We don't listen to the coach here. Maybe you did where you are from. But we don't.

teams leaders aren't always the ones that get paid the most. Obviously most would probably like for that to be the case but in reality its not always true.

    Exactly, very logical.

Hard to find someone like that now a days on this board.

    We'll get there, eventually.
