FYI, in the NBA Dish forum I just posted up a possible trade (info from Sportsline.com) between the Grizz and the Clippers. #4 for #8,12. Clippers are supposedly high on Skita and want him with #4. West would be making a great trade if that happens. Talk is he wants J. Jeffries and #4 is too high but #8 seems right. Plus he would have #12. Would he take Stoudamire? If this happens then Portland is out of luck in trying to get the Clippers to trade them that #12 pick to try to obtain Stoudamire.

I dont do any deals period with G.S. after they screwed us last year with the Jackson. They have had top 5 picks in the past and either picked the wrong person or trade them away.

weren't we high on Troy Murphy a short while ago?

I have little doubt that GS would trade Murphy for a pt guard, if they liked the pt guard enough.

That would make sense for both clubs.

Personally, I like Murphy better than Nachbar.

Isn't Murphy a PF? I don't see that helping us in the least if that was the case! If we are getting another PF it has to be someone with MAJOR upside ala Stoudamire. That is the only reason I see us adding someone to an already crowded PF slot.

I thought Murphy was a sweet shooting SF. If he's a PF, you're right, that would make no sense.

I know we don't need another PF...but GS is trying to move fortson to make room for jamison...

#15 for Fortson is a decent trade? He is one of the best rebounders in the league...good trade...damn our logjam at the 4 spot!

All I know is that Larry Hughes better not be coming to H-town.

Murphy is a pf/c with nice potential. I'd much rather have him than Fortson. Fortson is undersized and has NO freakin d.

I doubt the Warriors move Murph neway.

How about a 3-way trade between the Clips, Warriors and Rockets. Warriors get 15 and Terrence Morris. Clips get Hughes and Kenny Thomas. Rockets get Odom.

They seem pretty desperate for a point guard. I don't think Eric Snow would be that much better then Hughes at the point.

CriscoKidd--Because they need a PG, and aren't resigning McInnis. They're hoping Jaric(sp?), a Euro they drafted will work out, but they want another option.

NewJack--That trade sounds good for us and the Clips, but screws over GS. After we got screwed by them, that would be nice payback.

funny, I thought Hughes proved he wasn't a pg this season. That was nothing more than an experiment.

Hughes is a sg, not pg, and the Clipps have plenty of those, better ones matter o fact. They'd be better off starting Odom at point.

GS isn't even going to re-sign Hughes. He showed GS he isn't worth big money. They'd rather not pay the luxury tax than wait for his potential to someday shine through.

I'm not a huge Murphy fan, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rockets trade for him. We definitely need a new 3, and Murphy could be the man, especially since he can play inside at times, and Griffin seems to prefer to stay on the perimeter.

If Murphy was just a tad bit more athletic, maybe... but as it stands, he's not a deadly enough shot to simply be a spot up guy... and doesn't have the b all skills to take people off the dribble... and lacks the size to overpower anybody.

Big time tweener. But for the #15... I wouldn't be completely apalled.

Maybe the Rcokets trade the #15, as they are predicting Nachbar will go early. Move down to #30 with the Warriors, avoid the guarntee contract, and still pick up Prince while acquiring a future draft pick from GS.

If Im Les, its gotta get harder to write these 7 digit checks when your team just finished 5th from last place. Hell, Les is one guy that is underrated in this Rocks organzation. This guy has contiously written out checks to bum player after player, and yet he still seems contempt to continue writing them, unlike some other GM's. Anyways, props to the owner, Les Alexander!

Clippers do need a PG, not a SG who can't shoot (Hughes).

I would be interest in Adonal Foyle, too. He is a blocking monster like Cato COULD be.Ok,Cato isn't going anywhere. The fact is,that GS doesn't have any players,we could be interested in.Ok,they is a Richardson or Fortson, but we could only acquire tem in giving up the 1st pick.I would trade our 15 and KT to the Clips for Odom.We still draft Ming, and Stevie and Mobley are satisfied, too.
