Sipping on his ice tea and smiling, Kyle Rittenhouse joined BlazeTV's You Are Here show to rip lead prosecutor Thomas Binger, joke about the night he killed two men, and discuss his time in "adult jail." "So, uh, Binger is like you're looking at somebody going to eighth-grade prom," Rittenhouse, 18, said. "Wearing their Star Wars pin on their shirt, and then you have the fat guy lunch box, um, give him a ham sandwich, he'll leave you alone." "I sort of knew I was going to win when the Binger, we'll call him the Binger, lied in his opening statement, saying I chased down Mr. Rosenbaum, which is factually incorrect," Rittenhouse said. Whether it was negligence or omission, Binger did not have a case, Rittenhouse said. When asked if he has PTSD from the night he shot three men, killing two of them, Rittenhouse said he deals with the condition by making light of the incident. "Well, I have PTSD, but the best thing to do is to joke about it," he said. Rittenhouse laughed at memes about rioters and the shooting, including one that showed a cartoon dressed as Rittenhouse shooting Family Guy's Peter Griffin, dressed as a rioter, in the knee. The 18-year-old also took the opportunity to discuss what life was like in "adult jail." "I was in solitary confinement, um, in my own room," he said. "The guards, like, watched after me a little bit." The guards were really "cool," he said. "There was this one guard in Kenosha. She knocked on my window, and she was like, 'I support you,' and I'm like, 'oh, thank you, I'm not talking to you. I invoke the fifth [amendment]," Rittenhouse said.
