Bob marley's son left her because she was "incompatible" or something. Personally, I think it had more to do with the dark lips.

Men of soul love light skinned lips.

And not surprising, his new one

you are idiot. Democrats pay their taxes, more so than Republicans. Republicans like Mitt, use Tax havens to hide their money.

LOL please. You listed one, I responded with two. I could put Daschle, Sebellius, Geithner, etc. on the page.

You mentioned one person who didn't do anything illegal. I've given you 5 who did.

The point isn't that Democrats are tax cheats, it's that rich people in general tend to be cheats regardless of their party.

You are right, 4 not 5. Point still stands. Tax avoidance, either illegal or legal, is not unique or dominated by a particular political party.

Legal forms are merely dominated by the rich.

Remember you have to answer "yes" and write that extra paragraph about committing monetary fraud, and either falsifying or failing to complete paperwork, on every job, rental and loan application for the rest of your life.

I thought it was just that as independent contractors these people got live checks and never figured out how to do their paperwork, or even mentally deduct taxes.

I understand what you're saying and while I'm interested in what she considers "withdrawn from society", I do think that in theory if you don't accept any services or benefits from the government then you shouldn't have to pay taxes. I don't even know how that could work out, but in theory, it makes sense.

As for her money, she was not born rich. She made her money in the private music industry. She earned it. Plus she is tremendously charitable, so I don't see this as a greed issue.

She has not refused services from society though. Read about her "exile."

You are right, she wasn't born rich. But she didn't start refusing to pay taxes until the late 2000s. When she was rich. I don't think it's a greed issue either, I think she has a warped mind. Read about some of the issues she had with her band members and some of the drama she put people through when she did concerts during this alleged "withdrawal from society."

She'd have to renounce her citizenship.

Doesn't seem possible to not accept any services or benefits. Live in a shack you built from fallen trees in the wilds of Montana, hunting deer and collecting berries for your sustenance and drinking from streams -- you still benefit from the US military who keeps you from being oppressed by foreign armies, from the justice system that deters criminals from taking your stuff and leaving you dead in a ditch, from the wildlife services who keep your deer from being overhunted to extinction, from regulatory agencies that stop companies from fouling your drinking water and the air you breathe. Nevermind the benefits each person accrues from the healthy society that prospers under a successful government -- low unemployment, wealth, health, and happiness help your fellow citizen respect your rights. And nevermind the particular benefits she gets from the creation and enforcement of copyright laws without which she would have no employment or income at all.

There is no place on Earth she or anyone can credibly go without involuntaily benefitting from government and society, save death.

This is one of the dumbest things you can go to jail for.
