I just think it is funny that you come in here and complain about something that you know nothing about. I had a girlfriend that was like that once. Always b****ing about something that she had no knowledge of.
Well then you shouldn't comment Anyway, I never said you guys were racists, I just said this thread is full of negative stereotypes about black women. So I still have my creditibility thank you very much.
Another reason I thought she should've been kept around. If you're going to go by the individual projects, either Troy or Heidi should've been fired last night. At least the project manager (name escapes me) owned up to his mistake and Trump's dude agreed that while it was a risk, it was a good risk.
The main stereotype is that educated black women are arrogent and have a chip on their shoulder, because they usually work with a lot of white people and have had to deal with some racism their entire lives. Another stereotype is that they like screaming "racism" when things don't go their way During the entire time she was on, Omarosa was arrogent, she had a chip on her shoulder, and I belive she whipped out the race card during the first or second episode...
I can see that line of reasoning but I have to desagree. Part of being successful is being able to develop relationships and being responsible. Everyone hated her and she always had an excuse. Donny doesnt want to hear excuses and he doesnt want someone that isnt a team player.
Yeah, I agree. I also forgot about her barging into the Board Room...she should've been fired on the spot for that reason alone. My guess for the next firing is Katrina.
She went to Central State University (which sounds very made up) and Howard, and she has the audacity to act like a know it all. Give me a break miss community college. And even if she did go to a real school, she still sucks.
From the guy complaining about comments on a show he hasnt watched and saying he still has his credibility.
From a business sense, Omarosa was the only one on her team who had any idea how to do the assigned project. However, I think Trump made his decision more on her behavior over that past couple of projects. He had serious questions about her integrity and leadership abilities. I think Troy gets a pass on this one because he has been strong on past projects. Obviously art is not his thing, but he put a good effort in and tried to be part of the team, which was something that Omarosa did not do. BTW, I thought the Andrei's artwork was quite good. Kind of a cross between Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock. Meghan stuff was cool, it was just to extreme and almost gimmicky. The Apprentice people had no idea how to even approach trying to sell that stuff. The guy who put his hair and fingernail clippings in his art was a sicko.
Omarosa really was the one to make the decision to go with the Goth-artist. She said from an artistic perspective she preferred the other girl’s artwork and not the goth-artist, BUT that from a business perspective it would be better to go with the Goth-artist. The other 3 agreed with her because she was he only one with any knowledge of art and that’s how they chose the artist. When the decision was made, she had no problems at all with it. Also, the one piece of artwork that Omarosa sold for $800 or whatever might as well have been $0. She spent practically the entire time at the art show working that one lady and all she ended up with was chump change. At least the other members of her team were trying to make a sale that would have made an impact. That was, afterall, the gameplan. To sell a few of the really high-priced pieces of art.
There was a blurb in this week's U.S. News about her; she was a Gore staffer in '00 (go figure ) and most of the people there hated her as well, though some high-level campaign stooge had a nice quote about her. I haven't seen the show, so I have no opinion whatsoever as to whether or not she's a walking stereotype.
If it's already been televised, it's not a spoiler. I, too, found it funny that Omarosa (the only one who wanted to go the safe route) was fired over Kwame (project manager who "took a risk") The fact that they were only able to sell one piece makes me think there was some editorial decisions made, where a person was sent in, with money from the television show executives, to make a purchase. We already know it happened in the apartment episode last week (or was that 2 weeks ago?)
