Poprocks, I like your posts, but I too think that one was quite a bit overboard, a lot of people come to this site to get info on the Rockets that is not otherwise available, and many of them are not from the USA or speak English very well.... But they are still Rocket fans.....I just think it was in poor taste... DD

A lot of people (like me) keep coming to this board because we enjoy the sense of humor that this board portrays. While the post really wasn't that funny in this case, there's no reason to call out a ban on the guy. It was in good fun and there is no need to deter humor because a few folks don't 'get-it'. There are many personalities in the world and they are all welcome.
Dunno man. It's hard to portray sarcasm on message boards. I'd expect a post like that to be considered all good on the ESPN boards but don't bring that here. Just my opinion.
I agree, but when something is inappropriate, people should let them know, right? I found the joke about an injury to be in poor taste, so I told him, he can choose to take the advice or ignore it....but at least he knows how some people feel. DD

He was interviewed earlier on "The Pulse" on ESPN news and said he is day to day, would love to play tomorrow b/c it's a big game but is feeling better everyday. Hope he plays!
They will be evaluating it today, and they should tell TODAY if he will play tomorrow. I would give it until about 6 P.M. CST for a news release on Chron.
Oh trust me, I did "get-it". That's why I said "once or twice is fine". But first of all, I didn't find it funny AT ALL. It's of very poor taste. Secondly, even if it was funny, when you repeat it time and time again (I counted at least 4 times in this thread), it just ain't funny anymore. Like DD said, a lot of people (including me) come to this board to look for latest Rox update. Some of them may not have the time or patience to go through the entire thread. What do you think they feel when they see poprocks' posts?
day to day? I hate that phrase..grr! maybe because I heard it way too often with andre J and green during football season. We really need him out there, but no need to rush him. It would be nice to know now, waiting til 6 pm is driving me crazy.
It's my understanding that Adelman said after practce today that Landry WON'T play in the Lakers game.
This makes us even. Lakers don't have Bynum and Gasol, and we don't have Yao and Landry. May the better team win tomorrow.
can we have a damn timetable? it's like every injury to a rocket this season has been from day-to-day to weeks. unbelievable.
