Landry needs to take his time. He needs to rest up cuz we need him 100% for the playoffs

thats how i feel.... considering how tough the west is, it doesn't matter where we are seeded. we desperately need a 100% landry, over a 75% landry & a top 3 seed.

yeah.... even without landry, guys have to hit open shots (rafer, scola) and guys have to hit layups (hayes). the way we have played the past 2 games is an indicative that we are tired.

Wow, 50,000+ views and he has only been out a handful of games.

Speaks volumes to how much he is needed...

or how bad we are playing.

After reading some of the posts in this thread, I think Landry might be responsible for the Kennedy assassination.

Well if it was too serious he wouldn't be flying and traveling with the team, so I think he will be fine soon. They are just being careful with him

Its funny how everyone thinks this rookie that has averaged around 15 minutes for only 28 games is going to come back and save our season....

I think Landry being out is best for us fans as it gives us hope......cause once he's back, reality will set, he's not going to make that much of a difference.

The Rockets are who we think they are, not what we hope they are...

It's about what he does during those 15 minutes that counts. He's there best finisher and a tremendous difference maker.

I think I will just go to pretending Carl doesn't play for the Rockets... cause I am getting tired of checking this damn thread everyday.

Exactly there is always a catch when it comes to the rockets every year. Somebody on the roster that is important doesn't play when you need them every year on this team. It's BS.

I think it's funny how people like CoolGuy here think that a team that just ran off a 22-game win streak needs its season saved at all.

Our best finisher in the front court. Our most athletic big in the front court. Just because he is a rookie doesn't mean he doesn't make a difference. He did for us, what Sam Cassell did for the rockets in his rookie year.

If you look at the fact that the team was 21-2 With Both Yao and Landry on the squad. Or 25-2 with either Landry or Yao healthy... and 6-3 with either missing in that same stretch that is reason to be concerned. Also of the 6 victories Dallas was missing Nowitzki, NO was missing West and Bonzi, LA was missing Bynum and Gasol and we struggled to defeat the lowly Bobcats and Hawks. Only the game against NJ was a decent win against an average team. Add that to the fact that TMac lost his fire the last 3 games and Rafer has fallen back to earth and I wouldn't say the season needs to be saved, the game winning streak did that but that win streak will mean a whole lot less if the Rockets fall all the way down to the 7th or 8th seed.

Let Landry comeback and see what he does for the team. I am sure that he will be big for us cuz in that Dallas game, he was a big part of the win. Everytime T-mac got double, he passed the ball to Landry, either it was a foul or a dunk. Now, when he gets double, he has to pass the ball to Chuck or Deke.

exactly having Landry in the low post that can finish with authority forces teams to back off their doubles of Tmac, but now they double him with Mutombo and Hayes man because there is always one of them in there. When we had Scola, Landry, Battier, Tmac and Alston in there we were very good on offense and properly spaced.
