They're saying now he may play against the GSW. All I know is he better, because we will really need his energy/inside presence against that high-octane team.

He should check out Steve Patterson in Waco if it's a soft tissue injury. That man worked miracles on McGrady.

He could also try that Kenyon Martin chinese medicine remedy. LOL. Injections of rooster crowns into the knee.

They've been saying that for the past week.

Yao was reported as saying after he went down that he approached Landry and told him had been playing good but now he would have to play great for the team. So unless Landry has some sort of legitimate injury yet to be diagnosed or reported to the public now, he has let his teammates down plain and simple.

I think Landry should do whatever is best for his career......he has to be smart.....IMO.

That being said, I seriously doubt the injury is any big deal, as he played on it against the Mavs.

Someone needs to call out the Chronicle writers toting the company slogan. Fans wants to know the truth, not be lied to every other day. Is it Carl's pansy ass who can't go at 80%, or is it more serious than what we were led to believe? It's your job to find out, Chron.

Agreed. Our medical staff is flaky in the way they operate and a liability. I have seen problems with the way they have handled Yao and T-Mac's injuries in the past, and now Landry's.

I think it is on Landry, he is the one holding back at this point.

He needs to do whatever is best for his career.

The Rockets are set up for next year:

    1) Scola, Landry and Brooks will all have one more year of experience.
    2) One more year of playing Adelman's system. The consensus seems to be you need a couple of seasons to really master it.
    3) Large, expiring contracts.
    4) Knock on wood--hopefully they'll have a healthy Yao and T-Mac.

What's the point of rushing Landry back from injury this year? What are the realistic chances that the Rockets can actually get to the WCF even? The Rockets are going to make the playoffs and the rookies are going to get some post-season experience. That should be enough.

I doubt a player can hold out if he is really health. To me Landry is the kind who loves to play.

Oh I don't doubt he has a little pain etc...but he did play on it is the Dallas game...

I think he is just being cautious....can't really blame him with his contract situation.

You think having a bad knee is gonna help his stock?
