I got the hint of this yesterday from the talk on him. Honestly I think he is out for longer than Sunday. I don't think they have a good idea of when he will be back because it sounds like the swelling isn't going away.
ok, no hope to win agains lal.... i won't watch the game then. just sick to think how the cocky lakers would laugh at exhausted rox.
IF they gotta hold him out for 4 games at the expense of losing the streak, I'm ok with it. Save him for the playoffs and get well Carl!
not even close to returning to the court... he just started jogging on an anti-gravity treadmill, he is only jogging on 60% of his body weight. he is still three weeks to a month away
Sincerely hope so just for the game in it, but I don't have the warm and fuzzies going. But maybe it is just me.
Relax, guys. This is ESPN - who knows NOTHING about our team. They probably saw he didn't make the road trip and speculated he'll be out Sunday. Morey said Atlanta and maybe Charlotte - in other words, Kobe's getting dunked on Sunday.
I still remember Otis Thorpe taking like 5 weeks to heal up a bruised shoulder and during that span the Rockets media crew setting his timetable return back every few days. I don't think any Rockets player has ever returned from injury in the timeframe initally stated to the public by management, much less actually early
Although you make a solid statement, I argue that it is important. If the streak were to die with a subpar team, then they can just say they played poorly. If they lose to LA, and begin to doubt, then maybe lose to Boston. NO is waiting for revenge, especially since it's become a heated contest now, and let's not forget GS and PHX are waiting. So as you can see, I think it's very important we win at least one game out of the LA and Boston games. I, of course, hope we can get them both and keep the team from doubting themselves into a losing streak. Just as we've had a string of excellent games, we can just as easily have a string of games like we did against ATL. Blah blah blah, it's all talk. We'll see how they do following Friday's game first.
Realgm.com had a report on Landry where they reported that his swelling has gone down and he is improving but there is no timetable. it seems more and more likely that he will miss charlotte and play against the Lakers
I like how Bill said that the Lakers and the Rockets are not going to be facing each other in the playoffs because they'll both most likely be at the bottom. Well he may be right after, they might not face each other but only because they're both at the top...! I still love ya Bill...
