He's been practicing. I guess the Rockets felt there was still a little swelling or he wasn't quite in the condition they want him to be. I'll be optimistic and say he'll be with the team for the road trip.
i dont think he has been in full contact practices with the team. i think he has been seeing court time for free throws, shooting, light running, stretching, things of that sort. i guess what i'm saying is that he'll probably spend some time in "real" practice with the team under observation before he sees court time in a game situation. that would be my expectation. i read somewhere that hes having trouble with his conditioning due to being away too. could be mistaken on that one though.
he could be. who knows. everyone is speculating. i'm just of the opinion (based on all the events surrounding the injury) that it will be later rather than sooner. if I am the rockets, i give the injury time to fully heal. if he is still having trouble with swelling in a knee that's already been surgically repaired once, I do not bring him back this week, or anytime soon. but maybe john hollinger knows something i dont. it would be really surprising if he's back this week. just like i said it would be really surprising if he was back for the laker game. it just doesnt add up.
the sky aint falling. in almost every report concerning Landry the consistent position has been; lets guage the swelling after practice. the Rocks are being cautious with this injury. the sky still aint falling but Chicken Little is somewhat amusing ...
Actually, I am more concerned about T-Mac. He is playing way too much. He looked exhausted in the Lakers game. And we are entering a 4-games-in-5-days stretch. I'd rather we risk breaking the streak and rest him more than wear him down too much. T-Mac seems to need to play more because of the loss of Landry.
Yeah. I'm surprised there is no thread about this. There wasn't much difference between Sunday and game 7 of last year's playoffs.
Tracy's health is an enormous concern but we can hardly afford to rest him. We will undoubtedly fall fast in the rankings without him on the court. There is very little difference between 1-8.Even Denver is climbing up at 9.
It is not about that Tracy ahouldn't play or something like that, it is about 48 minutes. I cannot happen cause damn it is NBA, it is tough. You gotta be fresh
LOL what?! Not much of a difference... in case you forgot, here was Tracy's stat line in the game 7: 29 points 13 assists 3 blocks 5 rebounds 2 TO's and vs. Lakers: 11 points 6 assists 0 blocks 3 rebounds 2 TO's I'd say there was a pretty big difference.
Right in game 7 he was doing it ALL. He was a scorer, passer, etc. It was kinda 1vs5. And against Lakers he didn't step up at all, he didn't do anything big and we WON the game. It is a big difference
whoa there buddy.. didn't do anything big?! drawing help defense and making passes to open teammates has gotta count for something right? remember the first game against the lakers? who made that pass to battier? you're absolutely right about game 7... we ran the same offense all game long and nobody else really contributed.. that's the reason we lost that series
wish tmac had this type of love when his knee was all banged up. this is how fans should come together when one of our on goes down
Doesn't it make complete sense that it would be alive considering Landry hasn't come back yet and people want to get the "latest on him"?
the wolves owner stated today that KG did quit on the team last yr. so even the guys with the most passion quit on teams who suck, so i guess tmac can back that up when people talk about orlando. but tmac has gotten alot of undeserved criticism. but they're not going to go away unless he does something in the playoffs. and it's the same thing with our team. houston won't be respected unless we win in the playoffs.
