Sorry Pun. Puzzle's pretty much done. Not much to figure out. I guess I'll spell out exactly what happened: The woman was a hooker and the man was her "client". After doing the deed, she looked though his wallet, in order to swipe some cash, while he showered. And she found a torn off photograph of the guy as a young boy with his father. The cut off photograph matched up with her own photo of her as a young girl with her mother. So she realized that she just had sex with her long-lost brother, who she'd been out of touch with since their parents split up many years ago. Then she committed suicide. Hope you guys like these puzzles. I've certainly had fun trying them out on you. This'll probably be the last puzzle for this week at least. I've got another "activity" I'd like to try out on the board for tomorrow. As you can probably tell, I'm not terribly busy at work right now, and have plenty of time to goof around. So I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
Bah. I unexpectedly got caught up with work so I can't really do this other activity I had planned. I guess I'll save it for next week. But I can toss out another puzzle if you guys want. This won't take nearly as much of my attention as the other thing. Here's an easy one. I wouldn't be surprised if someone gets it pretty quickly. m_cable's Puzzle #6 The young man drove to his parents' wedding, even though he wasn't a b*stard. Status: Solved. The young man was "driving" in a Delorean Time travel machine. And went back in time to see his parents getting married.
Are these parents the same that conceived the man? Is there more than one wedding involved? Has there been a divorce?
Oh yeah, others please join in. For some reason when somebody says it is simple it always makes it seem that much more difficult.
Yes. See, I told you it was easy. I put in that he "drove" to the wedding as a little hint, since I'm sure most people's concept of time travel involves the movie Back to the Future.
Pretty much. I mean the whole trick was that it was a time traveling scenario. That's about it. I didn't come up with a huge back story/motivation behind this puzzle. It was just a quickie.
So it's simply the man travels back in time to go to his parents wedding. Damn it, you go from huge back story to huge simplicity. Confusing. Well I am still waiting to see this other task you have at hand.
