Re-stated, you prefer "dribble-mania" to making the playoffs.

Re-stated, it's about playing percentages. With appropriate spacing, there is room for both a dominant center and creative guard. See the second Rockets champonship. (Yes, YM is not Hakeem, and Steve is not Drexler, but the point still stands)

No, don't get me wrong. I had wishful thinking that Francis and Mobley would better utilize Yao in the improvement of the Rockets.

But in today's NBA where statistics get players the shoe contracts, championships aren't worth the opportunity cost.

Team basketball takes away a lot of the glory that Sportcenter dishes out. Just look at San Antonio, I never hear about them unless they are in the playoffs or coming to town.

More like a reckless guard. Steve makes some stupid decisions when he takes it to the hoop. Sometimes it turns into a sportscenter highlight, but more often then not its a turnover or a double clutch brick. Dont get me wrong SF has been one of my favorite players, but he doesnt know how to play to win at a high level.

This year are goal was to get into the playoffs....We did

Next year whats our goal???? Round 2 right??? If we dont meet our goals THEN we have problems....

Untill then I feel good about our team and how the core is........ Look how long it took Minn to get out of the first round...

I feel that yeah, steve had a bad season, BUT we still met our goal!! Next year we will move our bar up and try to do better......

Lets face it while MOST of us are CRAZZZY about the rockets do you really think that CD & JVG will blow this team up??? I SAY THEY WONT...

R problems are very small Vs. Dallas and the lakers next year... So I say why rush to hit the panic button so quick??????

The thing that I get upset the most about is some people out there will never be happy without our team making some real noise.....I wanna see our team do their best also, but lets be realistic..........GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME!!!!!!

Last year phoenix suns looked promising with the core of Starbury, MAtrix n Amare... but they started this season horriblely and lead to the trade of starbury.... I hope we not gonna repeat what happen to the suns..... :(

Its more uncertainty then doubt. Will the roster be blown and major changed maybe, maybe but I doubt it. I woudlnt be surprised if the the only thing that happens is that we pick up a PF and backup PG, but I wouldnt be surprised if SF, Cat, MoT and Cato are all gone. I dont have any doubt that after this offseason this team will be better and be primed to make another playoff run.

Your wasting your words on these boneheads, man. All this has been said by so many people who can actually see ad nauseum.
Which is so obvious and so true, that it shouldn't be.

Yep, they are forever bound to Steve with the utmost blind loyalty...like... Michael Jackson fans, but atleast he was great and consistent at one time haha

I remember when I thought that Nachbar and Griffin were going to be our forwards of the future. Nachbar was going to be a slasher with athletic ability that could hit the 3 point shot opening up the post for Yao. Griffin was going to block shots, rebound and learn a few post moves here or there. Sad that all the promise is gone. I really wish Nachbar (still has a chance) and Griffin would have panned out. Not having those draft picks pan out of us plus the loss of KT/Posey (which is another draft pick) really kills us. We need our draft picks to contribute to this team. It really has set us back.
