If I'm ever murdered, please let it be by gunshot and not stabbed 137 times and beaten in the head. On June 4, 1997, Rosales was in the process of committing burglary of a habitation when he entered the home of a 60-year-old female. Rosales claims he did not know she was home, and he was subsequently discovered while committing burglary. Rosales grabbed a kitchen knife from the victim's kitchen, stabbed her 137 times, and struck her with a hard object resulting in her death.
Your ignorance is bliss, my friend. Again, I ask, do you have any statistical evidence to back up your statement, or do you just watch the filth that the News put out?
If I offer you statistical evidence, will you then call yourself ignorant or will you try to find some way that the statistics don't show what they say saving your own ass? Awaiting your reply.....
Uhh, there have been tons of studies done regarding racial bias and the death penalty. Like Pun said, it's a pretty well known fact that race plays a factor. Here's just one of hundreds of studies google pulled up - http://www.amnesty.org/en/library/asset/AMR51/046/2003/en/bfe434a5-d712-11dd-b0cc-1f0860013475/amr510462003en.html
(trying very hard to stay on topic) They chose not to listen to the laws of society. Their spoken word is nothing but a desire. Their actions (crime) speak the loudest. And that action is what I will remember.
Okay, lets bring it back to the sports world for a minute and try and go less towards D&D... Name 5 "High Profile" African American athletes who got off with less than what they should have when convicted of a crime. Now, name 5 "High Profile" White athletes who got off with less than they should have when convicted of a crime.
Please provide me with some statistical evidence that the sky is blue. Also be sure to define 'blue' and back it up with your supporting sources. BTW, if you google "Death Penalty Racist" you'll get about 1.9 million hits, so fire up a pot of coffee 'cuz it's gonna be a long day!
Just as I thought, you try to go off on a different angle to make yourself seem right. We were talking about the death penalty and race not sports and crime. FAIL!
Well while im reading I want you to google "Flying Cows" and you will get a 1.23 million hits. So now justification of proof only comes from typing in a phrase on Google?
strawman of the year? Name the last White athlete accused of murder. Dude, we're talking about the death penalty, not drug trafficking, rape, or cruelty to animals.
Decent trolling at least. I'll pit my 'common sense' and 'knowledge of history' against your 'OJ Simpson' (circa 1995) and leave it at that.
The University of Maryland did a study that showed prosecutors are more likely to seek a death sentence when the race of the victim is white and are less likely to seek a death sentence when the victim is African-American. The Yale School of Law did a study that showed African-American defendants receive the death penalty at three times the rate of white defendants in cases where the victims are white. Those are just two. Do yourself a favor and Google.
