Three incorrect calls in last two minutes. Or one and a half incorrect calls per minute. Only in the NBA could that be considered laudable.
Q500:27.5 Foul: Personal J.R. Smith Josh SmithCNCSmith (CLE) makes contact with the ball, causing Smith (HOU) to lose control. I don't know about the CNC on this but it appeared JR slapped Smith's arms causing the loose ball. This could of been a game decider right there.
Overall I think that's a decent review and I don't contest any of the findings. I'm obviously in the minority here, but Harden initiated the contact with the hooking thing. Offensive foul, I don't think so since there was no advantage and Lebron wasn't moved. No call followed by travel, would have been fair IMO. But as long as it's noted that the whole sequence was a mess, it's progress. A blown call on a double foul isn't really a blown call.
The square dance could go either way. LeBron reached in. Harden used his off hand to clear. The two arms hooked. At least one of them fouled. Should have called a foul -- either way.
You are in the minority on this site because this site can't see through the red glasses. Harden initiated the contact. As soon as the arms lock Lebron is looking at the ref like "lol wut? don't call a foul on me bro!" and then when he finally gets free and Harden has traveled, a perplexed Harden grabs him again with still no foul call. It was a mess, but it seemed like the official was just stumped by the fact that Harden was hooking the arm for no reason and didn't know what to do.
