Somebody please provide email addresses of Greg Anthony and Tim Legler, we should definitely let these two losers enjoy this poem.
Dude nice post. I think you just summed up all the thoughts Rockets fans had last night. I'm just glad for Yao man I really am. If we get anywhere this season, he deserves the MVP sooo much it's not even funny. Yao putting Shaq into a state of Mourning Turnin' down the Heat And i don't mean global warming
I think the chip-on-the-shoulder thing Rockets fans have is a bit much. I saw the ESPN Broadcast, and frankly, I didn't see a foul on the rebound and put back where Yao fell down. It just looked like he didn't have balance. Who in fact fouled him? And the sportscasters gave Yao credit for intending the bank-shot. Which was fading away with a defender in his face. I have no idea if Yao intended that or not. And they are right - Wade shouldn't have more offensive rebs then Yao. But whatever. You gotta remember - a lot of people haven't seen this Yao....Yao up until this season and some of late last season only showed glimpses of what he could be. He wasn't the best center in the league for at least the first half, and then the toe injury took out out for the second half. So his game is understandably under the microscope for the time being. But look at the press - seems like people are taking notice....so don't worry.
Hey guys, The Dime Mag has a poll on their site right now asking who's the best center in the NBA. How bout we show Yao a little Clutch Fans love? http://www.dimemag.com/poll.asp
I don't usually do anything but mock and ridicule people... and the Garm in the past has been continually filled with posters incapable of coming up with coherent sentences; but you sir, have written a very good thread, although perhaps a tad bit dramatized at times, the gist of what was going on behind the scenes in the game last night has been made very evident by your points. Kudos.
On a night when Yao's critics were eating crow as he sealed up the WC POW honors, led HIS team to its fourth straight victory, dropped 34pt / 14rebs on the 2nd best center in the NBA; the critics still found a way to flap their gums... On a night when ESPN SC announcers during a recap of the game had the nerve to call the suplex elbow that Shaq laid on Yao "boxing out" and added insult to injury claiming that "Yao fell down" after the blow.....what a bunch of self riteous hypocrits... Just remember........NOBODY EVER ERECTED A STATUE FOR A CRITIC!!! ......but they do for winners and great people
