If you're on Death Row in Texas, you don't get a special order meal. You get whatever they're fixing in the chow hall. You just get as much of it as you want. Just an FYI.
Looking at the site posted above I see that Texas has some requests listed. I've been told that they can request all they want, they get what's in the chow hall. Maybe it's all a load from guys who don't know. Maybe they've changed the rules. I'll see what I can find out tomorrow at work.
Yeah, and then you're put to death by being forced to listen to Van Chancellor do color commentary for Rockets games...
