I was checking out some stuff at work and got to thinking about what I would want for my last meal if I was on death row. How this popped into my mind is a mystery...it just did. So far all I can definitively decide on is mashed potatoes. What would you want?

I think I could pound down a couple of ribeyes, a baked potatoe, loaded, at least 2 20oz cokes and some buttermilk pie.

PS - Its funny you bring this up. Tonight was my "last meal" so to speak.
Tomorrow, I start my new diet after it was confirmed this morning that I am a full blown diabetic.

I would have as many ribeye's and t-bones as I could eat. Along with a big helping of steak fries and ketchup.

Hope your condition improves and your new diet isn't too much of a pain Codell.

Don't know if y'all want to play by the rules or not, but last meals consist of Jailhouse meals only. Death Row inmates can't have lobster, or steak, or cheese coneys. That's why most last meals are crap.

Not playing by the real rules. We'll play by amfootball's fantasy death row rules. Anything that you could possibly want (besides another human) is up for grabs!

I must be a cold criminal for being on Death Row. I'd try to order some endagered or protected animals to take some of them with me....

My ex-boss, who lived in the Woodlands, lived across the street from a guy who worked at Death Row in Huntsville. His neighbor would drive him to the Metro bus pickup and tell him what the dead man had eaten the night before. For awhile, he would morbidly eat the same thing and announce it to the trade floor.

For me, I'd have this meal:

Appetizer 1: Antipasto with Tuscan local meats and cheeses, roasted peppers, multiple types of olives, and beefsteak tomato slices with a glass of champagne.

Appetizer 2: Two Lupe Tortilla fajita nachos with top shelf rita, on the rocks, extra salt.

Salad: Spinach, blue cheese, blueberry, and toasted walnuts in a blueberry vinagrette.

Dinner: Giant Filet Mignon, rare. Some seared tuna medallions. A slab of grilled venison in a raspberry sauce. Wasabi mashed potatoes. Creamed spinach. A bottle of Brunello.

Dessert: Good Company Pecan Pie with Makers Mark whipped cream. A slice of chocolate mousse pie. Hazelnut and chocolate gelato. Served with a glass of port.

Finish it off with a cigar and 4 fingers of Jameson 18 year, one ice cube.
