Last game against the Lakers on Wednesday will be for the 7th seed

That was a popular upset pick, because GSW swept Dallas that year.

 

that was a case of a team having another teams number...but that was one of the best regular seasons ever by the Mavericks...and they were coming off the robbery in Miami by Dwayne Wades Heat in 2006...they were the team to beat in the West that season...

That was Dirk's MVP year, Dallas won 67 games that year...

 

It is the damm Spurs that screwed us up. First, they play a horrible game against LA, missing shot after shot. Then they rest their starters against the Warriors. None of these help us! We should try our best to beat LA so we can revenge against those damm Spurs for being a weak ass team.

 

Different roles. That James Harden may have been the best for that OKC team because he had the best scorer in the league and another 20 point scorer to defer to. He doesn't have that here. We need James Harden to get himself involved first and then get everyone else going as well. We're going to need Harden to score close to 30 per night in addition to the 6 assists and 5 rebounds to have a chance each contest with everyone else playing at their highest ability as well in order to have a shot each night.

 

When you put it that way it almost sounds like they really didnt want to face the lakers or the warriors in the first round. I think they want the rockets.

I dont blame them for trying to choose their first round opponent after gettting bounced out of the first round by the 8th seeded Grizzlies who iirc they had control over whether they faced or not.

 

Of course the Spurs want to play us. Pop knows we have no answer for Duncan. It's going to be brutal watching Asik or any one of our young PF's trying to contain Duncan.

 

Asik was pretty amazing on Duncan last time we played them.

 

Duncan was balling against Dwight and Pau...Duncan is still playing at MVP level...Spurs and Pop is not a match up i like...but I would like to compete against TMAC......and Spurs fans are genuinely scared of the Beard...

 

Rest the starters to ensure that Houston plays San Antonio in the first round...the Lakers will most likely win either way. Rockets have a legitimate chance to eliminate the Spurs.

 

I think Rockets will win because Lakers won't be playing with as much urgency since they will clinch their playoff spot once the Jazz lose to the Grizz earlier that day. But if Jazz win....it's going to be a great game..

 

really hope the NBA doesn't rig this game.
