Lol, people are complaining about the Celts running the score up?

It's the NBA Finals, close-out game. If you can't live with people scoring on you "in the end", then don't go down by 50 points...in the friggin NBA Finals.

It's a testosterone rush, dopamine surge. No time for composure and prissy worrying about looking good in front of nitpickers

Man, I have a new-found respect for Ray Allen. So that's what was wrong with his son- they found out that his kid has diabetes? That's a serious thing. Wow, props to him for his focus in a tough time.

It was a great game, but why they leave allen, house, posey all wide open at the 3 point line, I dont get it!

    GO CELTICS!!

And now finally the lakers threads are going to be over, thank god, for that! :)

well, i wish i had been wrong, but i think that was a pretty accurate representation of the series (i think kobe finished at 40.7%). shouldn't have gotten bold and just picked the celtics to finish it off at home.

lakers biggest problem is they are charmin soft mentally other than kobe and fisher. and that played into the celtics hands defensively and offensively.

Did you happen to catch last year's finals? What about the last time the Lakers were in the finals against the Pistons? Those teams dominated their opponent (in less games) and played great defense.

The most impressive thing about the game.

When the crowd sang "nah nah nah nah hey hey hey goodbye" they were in key. ;)

    It was very harmonious!

Actually I really enjoyed the game. I don't know if it was the fact that Rajon looked like he did here at Kentucky (defense phenomenal, missing shots all over the place, but driving like a mad-man) or the absolute defensive dominationby the Celtics on the floor as well as on the glass that made it good for me.

Oh... and I still hate Kevin Garnett.

My only reasons for rooting for the Celtics... Big Baby and Rondo... and Ray Allen (he's grown on me during the season).

Wow, I loved KG's bully analogy in his postgame speech.

You guys can knock KG all you want, and I surely did after Game 5. But he stepped up and had a huge game tonight. He delivered.

I thought about you during the game, everytime Rondo made a big steal or the kickouts on the very aggressive drives that led to open threes....I just knew you were beaming with pride. ;)

My only criticism of his game was when he kept tryin to flip things in from 5-10, looked like Bad Rafer out there.

LOL read back in this thread.. someone said that after the second quarter and I agreed!

Those teardrops in the lane that wouldn't go down.. yikes they were like bad Rafer flashbacks from the 06-07 season!! Rafer didn't have as many at the end of this year, but he had a whole heck of a lot of them last season.

Rajon looked good and proved all the doubters wrong. It was good to see.

They (coaches and scouts) always said he would be a better NBA player than he was a college player.

Bynum played a semi all-star level for half a season. He never played with Gasol. I don't think you can automatically assume Bynum pushes them over the edge. Coming into this year, Bynum was known as a talented, but soft player who had weight issues. Kobe rips him a new a-hole in the off season and then Bynum comes back in shape with something to prove. We don't know how he comes back next year, but he's less of a sure thing as a dominant center than Yao. Yao is the hardest working big man in the business, has been the best center in the league the last three years and is the definite man on his team. Can't say the same thing about Bynum. Everybody giving a title to the Lakers next year probably picked them to win already. I think they have a lot of questions. They are soft, their bench played over their heads this year, Kobe's a major league cancer and Phil Jackson has lost his fastball. He got completely worked by Doc Freaking Rivers.
