The most compelling topic this series for the Lakers is not the actual games itself, not the matchups on the floor, not game strategy. But if a 20 year old kid playing center wouda have added more presense...a player Kobe didnt even care to have around. Either Boston crushed them that bad, or thats as much excitement that the Lakers could provide.
Did anyone else get chills when the Boston crowd sang, "Nah Nah Nah Nah, Nah Nah Nah Nah, Hey Hey Hey...Goodbye." I seriously had goosebumps all over my body. Wow.
I think the Lakers would've won it all if Bynum was playing and was at 100% health. The Rockets better add more talent next year or they won't stand a chance against the Lakers, Celtics, or any of the elite teams.
what a year for Boston fans, baseball basketball and an almost football championships. Props to the celtics and congratulations to KG PP and RA for winning their first championship.
Okay, this game makes our 30-point game 7 lost look a bit better. And it makes the Gasol robbery look a bit less atrocious.
hard call on MVP pierce had two biggest games (one in a losing effort) but Jesus has been the most consistent and then kg with a double double each game. But seriously ray allen was guarded closer in warmups when shooting 3s. He had another wide wide 3 if pierce would have made a pass.
Read my signature, I'm talking about a legit star. Not Shane Battier, Swift, Francis, etc... It's unfortunate because Rudy Gay was that man, but hopefully we can move Battier and others in order to acquire that star.
I don't think that will ever happen in the TMac-Yao era. It was a unique confluence of events that allowed Boston to add two stars to PP. - Ray Allen's double ankle surgery, and just getting up there in age. - Glen Taylor finally pulling the plug on the KG era. - The Celtics having a budding young star in Al Jefferson to trade. Anything else? We'll have to be really fortunate to get a third star. There's not much Morey can do, other than wait for lady luck to smile down on Rocketland. Damn, Rudy Gay smh.
I guess Boston is making up for what the Patriots should've done in the Super Bowl..... Pour It All On.........
what pisses me off the most is that i thought the Lakers would put up a greater fight. that pisses me off.
Oh noes! the bad guys won! Congrats to Doc Rivers for doing nothing and inheriting a really good team.
