i have never seen kobe bryant looks this confused. it happened last game and it's happening again. the celtics defense just wow...
of course dude frustrated newer members of clutchfans find ways to make themselves feel better. if losing in the nba finals by kobe bryant makes tmac fans happy, then let it be.
Kobe tried to do to much in the 1st half, and well his supporting cast outside of Pau Gasol didn't do much in the 1st half. Basically Boston is out hustling the Lakers right now.
He was about as bad in the 04 finals. But at that time many people (including me) thought he did it on purpose so Shaq won't be resigned. Now we can see he buckles under real pressure.
the celtics have rarely played up to their potential all playoff long, except a coupe of games against the pistons. ...oh and, tmac is the king of the south! tmac is running these streets! tmac is the king of the south! TMAC IS THE KING OF THE SOUTH!
the Laker team with Shaq and Horry and Fox is better than this new team. I don't blame Kobe, its more of Odom's inconsistent play.
and the overall softness of Gasol, Vujacic, Odom, Mihm, Radmanovic, Walton...pretty much everybody on that team.
IDK, I've seen Gasol really fight for rebounds vs Kg this series and that is no easy task. I can't blame this on Gasol at all. I blame it mostly on Odom's vanishing act as well as Kobe's past 2 games. Can we all lay off McGrady now?
again, i agree, that's why i picked the celtics. their defense is amazing. and the spurs did slow the lakers down for the most part, it's just that they couldn't sustain it like these celtics. people just did not properly credit the celtics D coming into this series. you can see kobe try to get to the basket and there's just no way, and then they still recover well to shooters. it's a masterpiece. not really. they are this good. relative to the league, hollinger showed they are one of the best ever. '04 pistons, '03 spurs, 93-94 knicks. that's what they're up they're with, and they surpassed some of those team. not even 96 bulls is up there. that's the level of D we're talking about. add in 3 point shooters and 3 big scorers and they've always got a chance to blow you out. and virtually no chance of being blown out. that's why they're the champs.
No, this team is really talented, just very soft. And they don't have anyone to defend the post with Bynum out. But I think Jackson is a big part of the problem. He can't get his team to play defense.
