Has anyone noticed, how after certain comic acts on last comic standing they don't show the audience? Like some of them get standing ovations, but I guess the producers of the show don't want them skewing the vote. (I know they got a standing ovation because Jay Mohr makes some mention of it to the comic but they still dont show the crowd) Just wondering if anyone caught this?
I felt like Geoff Brown had the best performance tonight. I didnt find him that funny last year, but I guess he is showing his true form this time around. Rob Cantrell and Ant had pretty good performances as well. Sadly Dat Phan didn't have much new material. I liked Kathleen Madigan's political jokes also. It was a good change.
I was surprised that Geoff Brown didn't win the first season because of what I know about him. He is strong...REALLY strong.
I don't remember liking him on the first last comic standing, but when I saw him yesterday his set was definitely strong ... Maybe his jokes from the first show just didnt strike a chord with me. If he continues with sets like last night, I think it'll be between him, Ralphie, Alonzo, and Heffron in the end.
who got eliminated last night? i dont know the rules for season 3. is it one comedian gets booted each week, until there is one winner? or is it like no one gets eliminated and one team wins at the end.
Well team 2 won the contest, so they won $50,000 as a team. But in the end they eliminate the two people who get the lowest vote total. So basically they kick off one person from each team. Last night ,they kicked off Cory Kahaney from team 1 and Jessica Kirson from team 2. I wasn't sad to see them go.
