I would say that 2 guys that really step up back then was Defense and 3-D :Trevor Ariza
Leadership and Accountablity : Chris Paul.

Stop disrespecting the man. You just see point scored, you dont care about defense.

Best corner three point shooter in the league dude. Its not half. Been "ok" is wrong and the man has been underpaid. You are disrespecting him right now dude or at the very least underrating him.

2013 vs OKC: Francisco Garcia and maybe Carlos Defino. Garcia was basically a throw in in the T-Rob trade but ended up being our 2nd best player that series and primary KD defender.

2014 vs Portland: I would say Dwight but Portland was letting him do whatever as long as that minimized others and Harden.

2015: Brewer and Josh were good in the Dallas/Clip series but were nowhere to be found against GSW. I might have to give it to Howard because he was okay with taking a reduced role as a rebounder/ pick and roll guy but then again, is it really stepping up when doing those things should be expected given his talent?

    2016 vs GSW: LOL, next.

2017: Gordon and Nene were key in the OKC series, Nene especially with Capela being iffy against Adams. Williams was so shaky as well as Anderson.

2018: Gordon. Capela was really good against the Wolves and Jazz but then the Warriors played him out of the series. Chris Paul was amazing but given that he’s the 2nd best player on that team, he supposed to play at that level. Tucker and Ariza had some nice moments. It’s a shame that Luc got hurt because he would probably be the answer. In my opinion, him being hurt really hurt our chances that year almost as impactful as CP3’s hamstring.

2019: Gordon was definitely our 2nd best player especially against the Warriors.

2020: Jeff Green. Gordon was good again even with a shaky shot; defense was key vs SGA. Covington had good moments in the later games against OKC. But everyone shrank vs the Lakers.

Not feeling sorry for Tucker, exactly, but he is totally wasted on this team. Move him to a contender, already.

Gordon. Tucker. Nene. ... Dwight. I believe Dwert brought his A-game in the years he was here in the playoffs. His post-up game was still trash and he deserves criticism for wanting more shots, but on the boards he was Mr Clean.

Let us also fondly remember the legend of Corey Brewer and Josh Smith.

Chris Paul was probably the most even from regular season to post-season. He always brought his A-game, even though in 2019 his A-game was 70% of normal.

Ariza was a split, he upped defensively but fell offensively.

Capela was a bit of a faller. Disappeared for big stretches, wasn't assertive on offense.

Harden was a mixed bag. He had amazing moments and totally confounding moments. Team carrying moments and moments of complete passivity. Clutch moments and completely brainless moments.

    We don't speak of Westbrook.
