what are these 7.25, 8, 9 numbers y'all are quoting? i assume it's not just dividing the numbers from the way it's usually reported (like 20/160 being 8 or something). what kind of scale is it.
I had it done about 4 years ago. Overall I'm happy with it even though I'm at about 20/30. My night vision isn't all that great. Make sure you keep lubricating your eyes afterwards. That's very important. When I don't do it my eyes feel very dry and I don't see as clear as I should.
Damn, well I guess the doctor was right when he said there were people with worse eyes than me. HAHA! Well then what does that say about Texas women? You know, I don't think there was one good comeback to that; good job!
Happy reading. I mean isn't it little to late to ask what;s the outcome if you are getting it done tomorrow? Hope you did your researches. http://www.medicinenet.com/lasik_eye_surgery/page1.htm http://www.fortwayne.com/mld/fortwa...alties/lasik_eye_surgery/ask_expert_front.htm http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/LASIK/risks.htm
I pretty much feel the same way, even with the comment of eye surgery. I remember watching one of the Jessica Simpson shows where I think she gets Lasik done, and since I was curious on how it was done, I really wanted to watch it. While watching it, I was freaking out big time. Anything that involves something touching an eye, let alone something sharp, makes my eyes start watering and me wanting to look away. I could watch anything else, like any gruesome body mutilation in movies, but if I see someone touch their eye, I freak out. I would like to get this done sometime in my life though since I don't like contacts. (again, I ain't touching my eye or even getting close to touching it) I don't have any idea what my eyesight is though. Just been wearing glasses since like 2nd grade, or somewhere around there.
I hate watching that kind of stuff too but the procedure really isn't that bad. I think the valium really helps. It's so quck you don't really know what's going on anyway. I had mine done at International Eye Care at I-10 and Wilcrest. Probably one of the nicest doctors offices I've ever been in.
