I'm leaving on Tuesday. First timer and I don't gamble. Psyched to see the mob museum and just walk around to see the place though.

Just came back last month. Stayed at Caesars Palace Thur - Sun nights for a respectable $71, $91, $91, $61, plus $100 resort fee, $465 total for a Palace Tower room. Bacchanal Brunch Buffet was awesome. Got to visit several casinos and see 2 shows. Lots to do....

Came back from staying a couple of nights at Treasure Island. ~$84/nt for double queens, pretty solid.

You're missing the fight weekend by a week, but you still got FOOTBALL, and maybe Britney (heard it's crappy) and BoysIIMen (heard it's great).

Headed out to Las Vegas Thur-Tues @ Wynn, but attending furniture market. Looking forward to a few great dinners and some down time with co-workers.

    Just came back from Vegas.

If you guys like classic rock, definitely check out the Raiding the Rock Vault show.

Also, find out where the Peter Monroe band is playing. Those guys play an awesome show too.

Going at end of Aug. Just for 3 days it came out to about $1100 for 2 people and the hotel is pretty cheap. The flights are the biggest expense.

Anyways, what are some good shows to go to?
We have already seen quite a few cirque shows like Ka, O, and Michael Jackson.

If you do end up going to see Raiding the Rock Vault, make sure to check Groupon first. You can get a pretty good discount for the show on there.

A Texan going to Las Vegas for strip clubs? What's wrong with the ones in Texas?

What's ridiculous is if you're willing to drive to Austin (it's about and 1 hr. 45 minutes from our house, so only an hour or so longer, but much less time parking/going through security), you can go a lot cheaper. But the United flight goes through Houston. That same flight from Houston to LAS is like $150 more a ticket.

Just got back last week. Stayed at the Paris for 4 days and 3 nights. Had a great time as usual.

Didn't go to any shows this time around, just chilled and had lots of food and drinks (not necessarily in that order).

We're not really gamblers, so our strategy is to go from casino to casino, sit at a penny slot until a waitress approaches us, then tip her and tell her to keep 'em coming. See how many drinks we can get, then move on to next casino.

It got up to 107 on Thursday. Our plane was stuck on the tarmac for an hour because it was literally too hot to take off.

Airline pricing is crazy. We found the best prices on Southwest this time around and saved a bit more combining that with our Hotel.

A few years ago we could get cheap fares and decent times on Spirit but looking this time the times were horrible. I know Spirit has horrible reviews but we have always had good luck.

We have a hard time doing that since we always stay at two places. But one of them we always get free, so it works out. We ended up with two non-stop flights on SWA for about $320 a person.

The Paris is a nice place. The wife and I stayed there for about a week last year. Gotta love the heat though "It's a dry heat" lol.

We usually go to the video poker at the bars in the casinos. As long as you put a $20 in the machine, you get free drinks. Bet $1 every 15 minutes and just get as many drinks as you want then cash out and leave.

Funny that you mention Austin. The cheapest flight to Vegas we found that matches our time frame (Southwest) makes a stop in Austin. Luckily its not a long stop, only 50 minutes and the ticket was $100 less than the nonstop flight which departs 45 minutes after ours.
