The best thing to do for food is go to a buffet once a day. Good quality, get yourself full. Sure you spend 30 bucks, but its basically 30 a day for food, which is not bad if you ask me. We just got back from our annual trip, and our days consist like this:

    Wake up at noon.

    Eat lunch around 1.

Go to the pool around 3.

Go to room/rest up after pool.

Head out- play some tables, pre drink

    Go to the club.

    Sleep.

    Repeat.

We will normally stop off and get some snacks or fast food, on the way back from the club.

    Just my two cents.

asiin and macalu, there's tons of advice out there but y'all got to be more specific. What kinds of food do you like, what's your budget, and location? And what do you like to do?

Vegas has a huge range of food right on the strip from McDonalds to 5 star restaurants. Just walk around and within half an hour you will find a range of deals. Also keep an eye out in casino food deals especially happy hour ones or early morning ones. When I was there last week had a huge breakfast at 6AM at a place in the Stratosphere for only $6.

The obvious question is...did he request a room for guests with disabilities?

i'm a foodie so i'm not picky at all. inexpensive quality food, doesn't matter what kind, is always a good deal to me. hole-in-the-wall places are my faves. i really don't want to spend more than $30/day on food and definitely don't want to spend it all in one buffet sitting like xcamm suggested. we're staying at the marriot's grand chateau near planet hollywood. we'll be there july 6 to the 10th.

I think that joint because I think it has a full kitchen in your room.

Within a 10 minute walk from you that is cheap but good:
Earl of Sandwich - Miracle Mile Shops @ Planet Hollywood, south strip entrance
Secret Pizza (no sign) - Cosmopolitan, 3rd floor in front tower, on restaurant level, literally a hole in the wall

Good resource for happy hour deals: http://www.lvhhtime.com/
The planet hollywood mall (miracle mile shops) is a mall, so there's mall food, like Panda Express.
There's a McDonald's if you walk to the strip from your hotel, and turn left and walk 3 minutes...also a FatBurger and other cheap joints.

Flat out, if you appreciate great food and hole-in-the-wall places, you MUST go to Lotus of Siam. It's a bit out of the way up by the Stratosphere, but it is pretty much the best Thai restaurant in the United States, and it's located in a strip mall. Absolutely amazing wine list if you're into that, or just fill up on very reasonably priced fare.

This is the ultimate hidden gem; for the number of people who go through Vegas, the amount of them who actually know about this place is embarassing.

I agree with this, though you have to cab it from the strip.

When they ask you for spice level, keep in mind, that a 7 is a really a 10.

Got a flight from Austin to Vegas for $247 a person. Had to jump on it.

Kim, do you live in Vegas? Which posters do? I'll be there 9/20-24, so will want to watch Texans somewhere on the 23rd.
