But Maarty's a sure fire rotation player in the league in my opinion. Effortless shooter, defends his position and can rebound for his size. But... yeah... Patty Pat's got the the potential and upside. Maarty is already who he is...

I'm not going to dump on Jordan Hill cuz everyone else is.

But next Chris Bosh, Jordan Hill is NOT.

Not enforcing the paint, way too stiff on offense.

This is probably the Hill the Knicks traded away.

Jermaine's J looks about the same from last year. Not much improvement.

LOL at you people saying you can look at Hill and somehow mystically divine that he has a drug problem.

Hill needed the halftime. Hopefully he'll play much harder at 2nd half.

So is Patterson.. notice no one getting on him? Because he is at least hustling. Jordan going through the motions.

    Terrible Half.

mchale is one of the best big man ever so he probably knows what hes talking about... if hill is playing like crap (which he is), you can't expect mchale to give out compliments.

LOL, Hill not getting praised is hate? It's not like McHale is talking out of his backside when it comes to playing the big man positions.

Has history of partying (hearsay), looks like he is in slow motion....hmmm? At least we know he is not on "speed."

I agree that the drug crap is BS and unfair.

On a side note your little chart looks like Hill's post moves!

Patterson is also just a rook, so his up and downs are expected even in summerleague. But yeah Patterson has been active and has really just fell in love with the outside shot. If he hit those shots Patterson would have been having a great game.

Maybe Hill should get a haircut now that Bosh has done so, and that way Rockets fans can go back to squinting at the screen and convincing themselves that Hill might become as good as, nay, better than Chris Bosh lol.

In all seriousness though, he's sucking hard tonight. But he does have the quickness still to make you think that he could put it together in the future. Just needs to watch this game tape over and over and realize that, no, when you are within two feet of the basket and no one is around you, you do NOT in fact need to double pump fake.

All of Hill's good moments last year involved throwing it down, or hitting a jumper. He really only has one post move, that little spin with an over-under. He doesn't look good as a "go-to" player.

If you watched him last year, that shouldn't be a big surprise.

If the Rockets get to the point where they have to run the offense through him in the post, they've got bigger problem than the fact that Hill doesn't have a post game.

Hopefully, we will see Maarty next year in a Houston Rockets uniform.
