Jordan talks like he wants to improve and his attitude is great, but then you see what he is producing out there and you can't help but be disappointed.

I hope he comes good fo us, i really liked some of his minutes towards the end of last season.

Jordan Hill is not playing hard. Hopefully he turns it around.

Patrick Patterson needs to raise his shooters pocket.

Chase Budinger and Jermaine Taylor need to take control and be leaders...

Patterson only 2 for 7 with 4pts but he still looks good. Playing good defense, great court awareness and good rebounding!

Hill's purposely lowering his value so other teams won't want him in a trade. It's all for the love of the Rockets.

Hill can carve out a niche as a rebounder, defensive big though. When he has looked good it has been his rebounding and his defense IMO he showed last year. When he scored it was always a plus. He also has a little mid-range shot...so Hill can be a more than solid player if he puts it all together.

I don't think he hates him, he just hates the way he plays.

I'm getting a Stromile Swift vibe from Jordan Hill. The game seems too fast for him. Not a good sign for a second year player in summer league.

We saw how JHill can play as a 5 in the NBA. Didn't he back-up Hayes? although I think Scola being in there with him gave him a lot of help.

My hypothesis is it's coming from his having to retool his game. Last year, he was just playing his natural game. He may not be used yet to any heavier weigh he gained and its's affecting his speed and quickness on defense.

On offense, he just learned these new post moves. He's very mechanical in applying them in game situations. HE just needs time

Jordan Hill's natural position is PF but in the SL the Rockets want him to play C, ya know, whenever you do something that's unnatural to you, it takes some getting used to.

Current Hill reminds me some to the old Drew Bynum. He had a tendency in his first years to easily disperse, lose concentration and mentally leave the game. He improved it, but after some years of a lot of criticism.

This is true, but a PF should have a decent post game, he is getting tossed around like a rag doll out there.

Someone needs to tie a rubber band to Hill and make him dunk repeatedly to pick up our spirits.

Very true, but being the 8th pick and in your second year, against this level of competition he should look a little better. Long way to go though

    Exactly.

I'm just saying that what he does well is not what they are having him do in this game. He looks bad because they are trying to post him up, which hopefully will never happen in a real game.
