This is going to be a fun summer league! I remember when Bev went to summer league as a vet to play. That season, before he got hurt, was one of his best. Beasley going to summer league is a good sign. No Capela? Capela needs to play in summer.
This team needs to win a summer league championship so that the fans can cheer and Les can kiss the trophy and then the national media will finally confirm the fact that : Yes, the Rockets are just like the Kings. Its that pathetic.
Need some of these guys to blow up and put some pressure on the bottom end of the rotation. With MDA's pace will we have a larger rotation this year?? And if yes, which of these guys are going to get that burn??
I feel the same. This team this year not only seems mediocre, but boring as well. I mean, the great sign was Ryan Anderson! A stretch 4 who is a career 42% shooter or so. A PF who shoots 42%!!! For $20 mil a year. And that's the team's second best player right there. Last year the team was exciting, dissapointing but exciting. This year...I won't be supporting this team either. I dislike the owner, they need a young owner willing to go throu a proper rebuild strategy, and throw in a bunch of exciting young players to watch.
Beasley makes no sense. He'll just take touches away from the young guys. So what is the final roster? And where/how to watch? (I don't have NBA TV.)
We need more fans like you!! :roll eyes: Honeslty, I feel that this team will surprise quite a few people. Expectations seem to be so low. They are very likely to play a much nicer brand of basketball under D'Antoni and will probably surprise a few people defensively too. It is good that a few players from last year's team are gone. New guys bring a different energy to the team, they will probably be a highly motivated team and shooters were added, which is something this team desperately needed. The offseason isn't over yet. I'm pretty optimistic that there will be at least one more move.
I'm a UK fan so I hate U of L. That being said, I think Russ would be a beast in Damfonies system. Dude has a non stop motor and is aggressive. I really thought he would be a great spark coming off the bench for a NBA team.

I was gonna take vacation and go, but a seattle trip in sept with the al west possibly on the line for the Astros is far more important.
I am going to support our Rockets. Yes, it has been a disappointment so far but this is my TEAM damm it for better or worse. Like someone here mentioned, if you are a basketball fan this is a must go event. Is like Comic Con for nerds.
