make sure you don't go June 17th weekend of EDC, if you're just trying to relax. That is one of the most busiest/ most expensive weekends of the year by far.
Do you have any players cards with any of the hotels you've gambled/stayed at? I usually don't do a trip + hotel package since I usually get discounts on rooms at some places. Usually for me that would be Planet Hollywood.
If you are ok going during the week, flights are always cheaper then. SW prices are SW prices. If you are looking for super cheap, I'd suggest Spirit and Frontier. Yesterday, Frontier had flights sun-wed/thurs for like 30 bucks/person. If I didn't have kids, I'd be gone!
We thought about Spirit, but it seems to be better if you're traveling alone and very light instead of with your wife who always packs twice as much as we actually need. Besides....free beer at the United Club FTW. I think most of the travel sites are pretty much the same, are they not? Some have cheaper hotel stays with more expensive flights and visa versa. They always seem to net the same costs. Las Vegas dot com is what we usually use.
Flying with spirit for the first time 3/26-3/30. $226 round trip that's with the $60 round trip total for 1 bag each way and $20 for picking my seats. You can bring one small carry on but it's more backpack size.
Question: why'd you pick your own seats? More leg room? I've been upped to exit row twice, without asking, over four total flights on Spirit. Never asked. I'm 6'3".
So do you guys join players clubs when you're on the strip? If so, which casinos have the best sign up bonuses/comps, etc.? Any tips on how to best game the system?
Flying with the GF, and according to spirits website, it's not guaranteed the seats will be together smh. Didn't wanna take the chance so I spent the $20.
Never had a problem sitting together. I've heard you pretty much always are seated together if you book together.
The players cards now include everything. You show it when you gamble, eat, shop. You get comps on total spend
