youre right about that, but each individual also represents their party. thats why they get the little "(R)" or "(D)" behind their titles.

individuals mess up all the time. and they should be forgiven...

but when you ride a national platform such as family values into office, its very hypocritical for the individual but also for the party, bc its the individuals that make up the party.

maybe if the republican party didnt choose to run on social platforms such as family values, then this thread wouldnt exist...
